Found my UPS tracking # (ordered on apple.com)

I ordered 2 iphone 6s Tmobile 64gb

for the last few days I was messing around on fedex and UPS using my phone number/ apple order number. Finally It worked and I am able to track my phone via UPS using track by reference and putting in my phone number I used for my contact.

HOW TO FIND YOUR TRACKING NUMBER: (UPS)

Go to: http://www.ups.com/WebTracking/track?loc=en_US&WT.svl=PriNav

On the left side click "track by Reference"

Enter in the phone number that you used for the contact part of your order in the format of AREACODEPHONENUMBER IE: 5552223333

Click Track... That's it.

But it didn't work for me, though my status on Apple.com is "Preparing for Shipment" still.

How did you format your phone number for the Shipment Reference field? XXXXXXXXXX or XXX-XXX-XXXX? What shipment date range did you use and did you have to put in your zip/postal code or the shipper account?

Yep, same here. Nothing as well. Guess ill find out once business hours are open on monday..

I know it must be my phones because the phone number is for Missouri and I am sending the phones to Memphis. so the chances of my phone number being used for a package and it being sent to Memphis are slim.

What is strange is I expected to receive the phones via Fedex since Memphis is a hub and I have seen other people saying their phones are in Memphis via Fedex.

Walla? Voilà I think is what you meant. Unless it was short for Walla Walla, WA although not sure how that would be relevant unless that is the current location of your phone

On your apple order email confirmation, there's a link to your apple order. Does it says "preparing for shipment" or "shipped"? I'm guessing that's why some of ours aren't showing up in the UPS system yet.

Very interesting. My two phones are actually going to two separate address. I wonder if the reference number will apply to both of them.

Just says "preparing for shipment"

I went back to UPS and now it has in addition to my phone number as a reference it has another 10 digit number as well.

If this is not my iphones than i would say its a very strange coincidence. the new reference number starts with 832... any ideas?

This is a trick we worked with over the past couple of years.

I have tried several times today, with no luck.

It works both on UPS and FedEX.

So, no shipping details, despite a SN for the 6 Plus in my profile.

Ahh yes. I remember using the phone number as a reference number for the 5.

I think that was how the planes leaving Asia were tracked.

Use the mobile app. It lists weights and current location.

I am at 1.40lbs.
