It's great that OP has moved on from this tragedy. So many OCD Apple-plectics spiral out of control when this happens to them. Good for you.
I understand the concept of perspective. And when measured against these examples, pretty much nothing in our lives can possibly be worth worrying about. But on the other hand, it pretty much makes our whole lives irrelevant, too. This is a forum to discuss Apple products. Maybe the forum is too trivial to even exist?
