with Wipr you cannot. And the dev says he ist not willing to jump for every rule that might be necessary. I said - just let us set custom rules. No answer so far.

Since the new test you’ve showed me I reach 82%, not 100 anymore. Before it was 100%.

It is still the best blocker for me. The other ones are slowing Safari down for me.

it is but the dev is weird - won't improve his rules or let users set them. Try 1Blocker - seems to be very light too

All other ones made Safari much slower for me. Now I’m in vacation in Italy and have turned iCloud Relay on. I have %100 now with Wipr.

I don't know.... I use Safari with iCloud+ Private Relay, my router has Adguard DNS (that's a recent change), and I have all Wipr extensions enabled except "Extra".

I tried turning off Private Relay but still get 100%. When I last posted my DNS (set on my router for all devices in my house) was Google and I only set it to Adguard recently so I doubt that is affecting it especially since Private Relay should use it's own DNS (I think. I'm no expert).

Not sure why it's not hitting 100% for you.

Just bought Wipr and getting 100% blocked right out of the box. Was getting 68% with adguard

I have an app for tracking diet and exercise. It was so sluggish scrolling between days. I assumed it was just the app. since changing to wipr, it changes immediately as I’d expect

brilliant

thx for the tip

I just tested this on my wife's iPhone with Wipr, Hush and Lockdown installed. Somehow it only shows 15% blocked. How can this be if I have the same apps running on my iPhone and iPad getting to 100%? Any ideas how to fix this?

Looks like an app called Consent-O-Matic does this, created by privacy researchers at Aahus University in Denmark. Giving it a try!

I am using the Hush App (https://oblador.github.io/hush/) in combination with Wipr and Lockdown. Works great and keep most of the annoyances away.
I installed Consent-o-Matic on both my Studio and my iPhone, it seems fine on the MSU but I can't get to the settings page on the iPhone, nothing appears. I figured I'd try Hush on the iPhone instead but because I like to share extensions between all devices, I can't easily do that because if I disable consent-o-matic on the iPhone, it disables on the MSU!

So I removed c-o-m and am trying Hush. It doesn't have great reviews on the App Store though.

Bad news: The 2.0 update of the Lockdown app seems to be much worse than the previous version. Many blockers now require a subscription, so once again it is about making people upgrade to the paid version. I am still accessing the impact but this is VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

I've just started using the combo of ka-block! & crumblr (dl from the app store). Seem pretty good for me so far. The most annoying is pop up videos & crumblr can sometimes block those.
