Are these worth the 2.85$? Im just wondering i was gonna order one for when i finally get my iphone..

Anyone? Cause i know ebay has 99cent ones and you get 3 in a package.

Arrived this morning in the mail (uk) Gonna apply now :D

Edit: Just applied it doesn't come with any solution so soapy water it is!!

It came out ok, the cut is not perfect there a few micro bubbles but i will leave it to set.

I did the back i have a screen on the front so gonna save the other one!!
Im also in Manchester but nothing received for me.. how long did yours take?

Mine arrived today (Manchester, UK) - ordered mine on the first or second day this thread started.

On first impressions they don't seem like they're worth $15! No packaging or instructions, just a front and rear protector.

can anyone confirm either way if this comes with strips for the sides of the iPhone?
No side strips.

So what 'solution' are people using for this?

Would water suffice? Might just take the plunge with water.
Can someone explain how to apply with water exactly? Water on the protector or dabbed on the screen?

DEFINITELY on the protector!

Think I'm gonna use a bit of soap and water as the solution.

Thanks for your reply , yeah i ordered mine on the second day i think after this threat was created.. should be arriving soon though

Seems like they are still "free".
Ordered one. $3 isn't bad. Let's see if actually end up using it.

Ordered the day this thread was created.

Not too bad shipping time really but i wouldn't pay 15$ for these no way.

The camera cut out piece was a pain to take off from the piece it nearly ripped some of it away.

Feels kind of rubbery aswell but no orange peel affect like the invisible shield.

Here is an installation Video from their site that might help

Got mine in the mailbox today too. I live in Holland so the shipping seems fairly fast!
I've not used them yet so I can't say anything about the quality.

for application you should generally use 1 part soap to 10 parts water. Apply the water to the screen protector and apply to screen and use a squeegee or a credit card to slide the water out from underneath.

FYI mine also came in the post today :).

eBay ones or StealthGuard?

Hey guys so how do you think StealthGuard compares to the cheap ones you find on eBay? I picked up 3 sets of front and back screen protectors for $1.50 total from eBay.

Got mine today. I am from Toronto.

Pretty good shipping time because my PowerSupport ones that I ordered before StealthGuard is not even here yet and it is supposed to be mailed out with international priority.

First impression is that it is flimsy. I am not sure if it's good or bad but surely with that thickness it is stealthy.

Now the question is how it stacks up against the $1 ebay screen protectors and how long this thing last and if it really "heals".

If it heals and lasts longer than invisible shield, this is definitely better. Can someone confirm?

I can't believe how many people fall for this "free" case nonsense. Oh wait, just pay $3. This the same garbage being sold on eBay for less! Does it make you feel better with the word "free" tossed in there?

Well even though you have to pay "$2.85" even though it's "free" I think it is better than the "garbage" on eBay because on eBay more than likely you have to pay shipping on top of the original price. Anyways I for one am happy with this and if it ends up not working out oh well I just wanted to help protect my phone until I save up for the otterbox defender for iPhone 4.

* I said save up because I'm only 13 and get an allowance so in order to get my 3GS and 4 I had to mow the grass and thankfully I got to use my sisters upgrades for both. : )

I'd be interested to know how this "garbage" compare to the e-bay "garbage.

I have always used PowerSupport and never bought any cases/screen prot from ebay :)

Well, some of the free cases that I have received after paying for shipping are probably eBay cases. While I could save money by buying it on eBay, I don't feel like saving a dollar or two but having to wait 3 weeks to get it because it ships from Hong Kong.

FWIW, I have attached the mail.

It does not look too bad at all but I am never a fan of wet application and adhesive. I will wait for my PowerSupport Front/Back package (static cling).

The eBay prices are lower than this, including shipping. Speaking of shipping, the seller of this "free" case is spending 75 cents to ship, even though charging almost $3. Save your allowance and spend wisely.

Maybe you should do your homework before jumping in here sounding so smug. You're comparing 2 different things. Those eBay skins are a static cling film, literally worth a dime a dozen. There are good static cling films like PS or SGP, but you gotta pay a lot more than $3 for them. These are like the much more durable Zagg, Bodyguardz or Wrapsol - wet install with a thicker skin, I've yet to come across any of these on eBay (for cheap). I've tried the eBay static cling garbage.. and they are exactly that. These will probably be comparable to BSE, and if they are are sans orange peel, then they'll be worth way more than $3.

Got mine yesterday, they are not bad. Feel thinner than Zagg. I put the back one on, we will see how long it lasts.
