anyone in California receive the screen yet? I ordered right when the deal went up and no mail yet... :(

I'm in CA and just received mine today and I ordered the same day as you. So if they're not already waiting in your mailbox they will probably be there tomorrow. ;)

for wet installs such as these you should leave it a day or two before you see the true results. It takes time for it to set properly.

Mine came in yesterday...

It looked poor quality when I saw them first. The camera cutout on the rear was really hard to remove!

But then I cleaned my backglass of the iPhone 4, and applied the Stealthguard with the Zagg Invisble Shield spray and I really used the squeegee hard to get no bubbles.

Now it turned out really great: not a single bubble or dent in the hole backcover!

Only one con: it's size need to be adjusted, and the camera cut-out needs to bee re-aligned.

But for the rest, really happy with a 2,85$ protector. I didn't attach the front one.

How is it compare to Zagg?

Do not like. I've seen better screen protectors on eBay for less than these. The cutouts are barely even cut out. Getting the camera hole off was quite a pain. After drenching the back with solution, it still managed to dry out really quick making for an unpleasant install. I only installed the back piece and, I don't know if mine was defective/miscut, but it didn't even cover the entire back of the phone. Needless to say it looks terrible on my phone. Even for $3, still not happy with this. Didn't bother installing the front piece since, as a personal preference, I don't like the bar style cut out for the front facing camera. I have another one of these coming but I'll probably just set it aside as a backup, backup screen protector. Off to the Power Support store.

I received mine today. Look similar to BestSkinsEver. I haven't installed yet. Everybody can relax, it's not a scam.

So late in the morning on Wednesday, I posted some photos of the stealth film on the back of my iPhone 4. There were some bubbles that didn't want to squeegee out and I just hated the look completely.

My phone stayed in my pocket for the most part tonight except when I needed to call a few people. In the daylight, it looked just as bad and I could see how bad it really looked. Since then, as I said, it's been in my pocket and the warmth seems to have helped smooth the film out a bit. It still has that orange peel look but it's allot smoother now. It still looks bad on the Apple logo. I'll give it until Thursday at 4PM to decide on if I will trash it or not.

You can scroll back a page or two in this thread to find the photos I posted before. Here are two from just now.

do we just use water?

Earlier in this thread, people suggested a water and soap mixture. The stealth website mentions using a solution but they never said what the solution was and there is nothing included with the films.

I used some old Zag solution from an invisible skin package that I still had. That worked well and was very easy.

Got mine today in CA. Cut outs are not cut very well but not impossible to remove. BSE is better since the cut outs are already removed before hand, but $3 for a back skin I might use later ain't too bad.

These skins always take 2-3 days to cure so don't just trash them right away if you don't like the way it looks at first.

i ordered it on the first day when this info was published here and got it this morning(the local time is 12.08 13.15 now) in Finland. still waiting for my iphone 4. the texture of the protector is touched like ZAGG,but it's dry installation. i don't think the manufacture is good, cause there is one bubble in the film :( but let's see how it works after installation on iphone 4.

The Zagg Invisble Shield felt much thicker, and more 'rubbery'. It also came of after a few day's!

To be honest I like this one more than the ones from Zagg... No orange peel, not to thick, smooth surface.

Is it possible to order another set? If so, I will! Really happy with these ones.

So how do we apply these if we dont have this spray bottle from previous protector shields?

Like when someone says water and soap? Mix water and soap and just slap it on the phone? Dip the protector in the solution?

Kinda lost.. As the other protectors ive used were all just stick on ones not water based..

Just lay it on top of the water and then take it out. Make sure your fingers are wet first.

Here are some instructions from BSE http://www.bestskinsever.com/blog/index.php/application/

They feel sticky when you peel off the backing. I was thinking of trying to just apply it to the phone without any water but I didn't want to risk it since there was only one for the back. I think the water just helps you to position the film better than if it was dry since they are rubbery and can bend too easily making it way to difficult to place when dry.

thanks for the updated pictures! looks much better already.
as for application, you need to wet these in order to position them correctly. when wet, you can slide them into place or even lift them up to re-align if needed. you couldn't do that if you just stuck them on. make sure your hands are wet and the iPhone is off. either spray the back of the skin with the water/soap solution or you can dip the skin in. once you have it properly aligned, use a credit card to squeegee out any air bubbles and water, working from center to the edges.

I just put my on, so there is no scam, and here is pic of iphone with this protector, I just put the front one on.
It is still wet, so you can see the wet spots, but the cutouts were very easy to take off...

This wet application took less than 5 minutes to install and went on perfect. Everything lined up just as good as SGP front!

No bubbles after install, and I like the look of the orange peel on the back! It's really not that bad!

Here's some pics, it's sitting infront of a fan right now to help dry :)
