I mean... the "sources" would just be common sense and logic lol. Think we all figured as much.

The source could be a blogger or a podcaster, which source would be common sense as you said.
Even predicting pre sales to be on Friday 14th is an educated guess, we don't need any source inside Apple to figure it out

This is going to be an epic event!

I'm ready. Apple, prepare to take a lot of my money. lol

They’ve already got my big payout; 2018 MBP 13”.

Bring it on. It's a good thing I've already knocked out my savings goals for the year... :D

Lol, you and I both!

Bring on the Apple Watch!

I'll be there on launch day getting 2 of them.

This is what I’ll be after, already sold my Apple Watch S3 Nike+ ; looking for a FULL Black S4 version for the Nike+, better senors (more accurate), cadence detection, etc. Maybe one for my son.

iPhones .... looking forward to TouchID/FaceID in iOS to be enabled after reboot without needing to type in password; yet not holding my breath.

iOS HealthKit on the phone is still limited to tracking dat without the watch. I just realized this since I’ve sold mine (watch). Hope this improves.

MacBook/MBA may also drain me again before Christmas - my dear sister will need a brand new machine.

One More Thing ...

Mac Pro / Mac Mini announcement?

Let's get this out of the way now...

According to sources Apple's 2019 September event will be held on 10th September 2019 at 10:00 am local time at Steve Jobs Theater. Preorders commence Friday, September 13th at 12:01 am Pacific Time with products launching 7 days later on September 20th.

According to sources Apple's 2020 September event will be held on 15th September 2020 at 10:00 am local time at Steve Jobs Theater. Preorders commence Friday, September 18th at 12:01 am Pacific Time with products launching 7 days later on September 25th.

How do I know? Because "sources"

So this means we will have for 90% sure a second event since the 12 Sept event will house only the new 3 iPhones, new Apple watch and the new airpods
In October Apple must to have an event to let the world, not by press but with an event, the new mac mini is here, the new entry level macbook is here, presents the new iMacs, the new iPad Pros and probably show the 2019 Mac pro and apple display !

Hope they release some more affordable laptops. $1799 for a 13”, 8GB MacBook Pro is ridiculous.

Exactly and with one port! This was just asinine from the beginning.

Oh yeah... and this time at this event please ensure no staff or anyone touches the iPhone X models using FaceID; it’ll just further embarrass Federighi.

“Whoops!” Should have NOT been the lead of iOS’ remark vs “this shows our level of security here, if n amount of attempts are made using the wrong face, a passcode is required” ;)

Upgrading my Apple Watch for the first time! I have a Series 0 SS 42mm. Hoping they get rid of the red dot, add BT 5.0, and increase the display size.

My wife is getting her first Apple Watch. She has been waiting for them to make a round version that looks "less masculine", but has given up hope. She has an old fitbit that needs to be upgraded and is even less of a fan of their watch offerings. She's hoping for a 38mm violet colorway.

As our kids grow from toddlers to young children who will be starting school soon, the number of activities they are doing has been increasing rapidly and will only get worse. Which is why the new walkie-talkie mode is what sold her. We're going to use that all the time to coordinate!

Apple has never hosted an iPhone event on Monday, Thursday, or Friday in the month of September. Always on Tuesday or Wednesday. September 12 falls on a Wednesday this year.

Yeah, I'm sure that someone at Apple is planning this out and thinking "Well we can't do an event on a Monday, that would be setting a new precedent."

Absurd.

Uhhh there will be more surprises than colors...

Will the new phones have ProMotion? Will Face ID be faster? Will AirPower come out? New AirPods case with wireless charging ability?

Will there be a new Pencil that supports the new iPhones?

What new health features will there be in the Apple Watches?

There’s a bunch of things we don’t know.
Add Airpower and airpods wireless charging to the list of stuff Apple talks about way too early and doesn't release. Wonder what they'll announce this year that we wont see till Sept 2019.

In all seriousness they need to stop talking about stuff they cant ship. In the last 12 months we heard about AirPower, Wireless Airpod charging, messages in the cloud, group facetime, some sort of new mac pro. All of the afore mentioned either shipped 9-12 months late or not released at all (delayed).

To me it sounds like a purely manipulative move financially to look really good and hedge bets before delaying products. Guess its working, the wall street weenies think Apple is worth a trillion.

I wonder what kind of company events they’re hosting at the Steve Jobs Theater through the year. I mean, I hope they are. What a waste of a venue if it’s only used once a year.

you have 12" Macbook for 1299$

Actually, I meant something with a bigger screen, regular, industry-standard ports, a keyboard that actually works, and a CPU that runs faster than my child’s baby stroller. And of course, cheap enough that I don’t have to break into my kids college fund to own it. It’s been said a milllion times already, but an Air with a a retina screen would be perfect, and a huge seller for Apple.

Apple is still doing an awesome job despite the delayed products. I totally agree that they need to stop announcing things so far in advance.

AirPods came out in late 2016, but weren’t readily available until September 2017! That’s nuts.

AirPlay 2 on the HomePod was also late.

Let’s see what happens this season haha.

Oh thats right. I forgot about those. And actually Airpods didn't become available till December 2016. I luckily got a couple sets for christmas gifts. And they continued to be in VERY VERY short supply for most of 2017.

Yup I remember clearly that it wasn’t until the new phones were about to come out that they started to be readily available / in stock.

September 12th

-Mac Mini Day- , and -Tim we forgive You Day-
[doublepost=1535384074][/doublepost]One more thing will be a glimpse at Project Titan.

My favorite part of this whole article is that we get to blame a French radio station for being wrong if the event doesn’t happen on September 12th.

With the greatest respect do we really need another one of these articles? There are now more than enough 'sources' speculating on 12th September. More than likely these 'sources' are no more than people using their common sense and collectively settling on this date
Be careful. The macrumors thought police do not like people questioning their choice in news openly. 9to5mac generally has better content that is less repetitive and doesn’t rely on the sophomoric Samsung rivalry as much. You’ll notice the editors have their pet causes on here so expect lots of fodder with release dates or blogs slamming whichever mobile carrier they dislike most that month.

The upcoming 12" Macbook will have 3d gen keyboard that actually work, starting at 999$ with 128SSD, Apple way, a 13" probably with 2 usbC ports (thats standard now in 2018-2019) at 1199$..so yes, a 13" at 1199$ will be a good price for a new hardware

On that day, will Apple make an official announcement regarding with their switch from Intel to their own chips? So far, they haven’t said anything.
