Friday, London, Drinking, Join us? (14th)

I should make it over for about 7ish for a couple of drinks... don't want a huge evening of it though as I only managed 2 1/4 hours sleep last night. If I make it through the rest of the afternoon without my head falling and bashing the keyboard that'll be an achievement...

NO PUB CRAWL!
 
i don't think i can make it due to lack of funds, i spent all my money on a bunch of software i started useing enough to justify buying, thus i only have £4 in change and a bunch of money on my oyster card.....

Well we could just take an average of my alcohol consumption from the week and feed that into tonights figures.... and it'd still weigh in with me hitting the "Drinks Like Fish" reading on the Killing-My-Liver-O'Meter :D

Meeting over - and I'll see what I can do about this evening. If I make it it will be around the 7pm mark, if not marginally later.

I'll still update the thread accordingly as you can always check from the Apple Store.
 
OK peeps, I am leaving work in a few minutes, so I will be there well early

When i get there i will probably sit at the theatre at the top of the stairs.

I will be the geeky looking 20something surfing the web on a powerbook.

To make it a bit easier i may hold up some relevant sign... Thirsty? MacRumors! something along those lines...


If you turn up and are a bit confused, all the computers there gots the internet, so post a message here, or use my link to IM me or something.

Be brave, and I hope to see lots of you there

Also i feel slightly generous if anyone is feeling a bit tight for money.... ;-)
 
i'm kinda on the fence with it, i don't really want to leach off you all.
 
last time i drank in a hostel pub i got kicked out, it was some aussie place near euston, that really annoyed me as they guy kicked me out said i looked 12, and i was 15 at the time and was really offended, especially as the guy was a midget and i was a good foot taller than him.

oh and the other reason for getting kicked out was that the bar was for residents only.

Will be closer to 7 before I make it there - probably about 10 to ish

And I'll be the girl in black linen trousers and T carrying a copy of... nah, cancel that!

i'm here, with the long hair pirate t-shirt and glasses and macbook, sitting on the bench on the right of the stairs.
 
I am at the theatre sitting at back row left hand side at the top of the stairs, drinking red bull.


i may have to dive out for a sec at some point to go meet someone, but i will try to make sure this is the collection point

im wearing a grey t shirt, glasses and a 15" powerbook

it's in full swing, i'm outside teh pub and finally found a working open wireless network.
 
hi peeps again! I'm back from my family business so i thought I would check in and say thanks to all for turning up! I had a great time meeting you all and hope you aren't scared to come along again next time. I'll start another thread closer to the date, and get the others to try and bring some other forums into the mix again. If i get hold of some of pauls photos of us all i'll stick em up here and/or flickr
