who cares! By the time ip5 releases, htc will already have a phone with gingerbread (3.0) on it which should really make android another big step up. Not everybody likes to stick with apple and their uncustomizable os.

HTC makes a good phone.

HTC sense is their UI they put on top of Android, it's not the name of the phone.

Samsung has TouchWiz and Motorola has MotoBlur.

I am not really sure why people are talking about iPhone 5.

There will not be an iPhone 5, not next year. iPhone 5 is a loooongg time away. Next year it will be the same phone as this year with some added features (using as a credit card or wirelessly do something with your MAC) but it'll be the same phone basically.

The next BIG Apple update will be software related, not hardware.

Wait what? LOL I thought this was a tech forum... and I believe every post I ever started had actual PROBLEMS that I needed help with. I don't really know what the point of this thread is, other than OP trying to prove to someone that his phone is more superior than his friend's.

What have apple brought to the table with the iphone 4 that, at the time, blew away the competition? Facetime?

-retina display. Still unrivaled
-Facetime. Still the simplest and most straightforward implementation of videochat. and you can use Qik over 3g too so its not like its lacking in comparison to android phones
-except for the reception issue (which I personally havn't experienced) the iP4 has the best antenna of any phone ive ever seen. Gets consistently better signal than anyone else on ATT i've seen
-best build quality of any phone out there. Sure, the back may crack because its glass, but the phone is so solidly built. And even if the back cracks, the internals are still protected because everything is built so well
-still has one of the best cameras of any phone (read the reviews if you don't believe me, it may have less MP but MP are meaningless. It produces better quality pictures, even though they are smaller in size)
