I concur with howard. I'm not sure how the present situation doesn't fulfill your needs. I mean, for a relatively new relationship, do you have to be attached at the hip every day, already?

We chatted Friday about things and we're not going to do the FWB thing. We have feelings for eachother and we don't want to make the break harder than it has to be. We're just going to be friends.

Thanks for all your advice guys - it's much appreciated! It was interesting to see the results of the poll too!

maybe you should edit this into your original post. People often miss updates.

Hey Mark! (stranger!) :)

I think it was a bit of a rebound (not because i wanted it to be a rebound... but just because there was an emotional void that needed to be filled from my breakup with my bf of 2 years). i felt alone and insecure and pretty much replaced my ex with this new guy (which is obviously an unfair thing to do). i'm still really new at this breakup stuff and am learning as i go. trial and error i suppose

Hey :) Oh I don't know, maybe this is bad, but I find it helps to have a new thing after a long emotional relationship. Who cares what's fair. As long as people know what the situation is, then have at it.

But yeah, probably some one else can weigh in with just how bad of an idea that is :)
