I did not say history. I said about people ( meaning their silly logic)

There's nothing baffling about history.
Your confusing "history" with your opinion.
No I'm not.
My opinion is certainly influenced by history.
Whoever buys a first generation product is wallowing in misery during ownership of that product. Those who buy a second generation product and beyond experience smooth sailing. It's a historical fact. Got it.
its 2015 and they still havent figured out an energy efficient way to display the time all the time? i will wait for gen 3
The first gen iPhone wasn't exactly a huge success, I profited on that by getting a new one in April 2008 for £179. After Apple got their act together, prices like that would never be seen again.
Wait, is the little one gonna be $349? I need to start saving up more money.
I'm not sure how you measure success. But the iPhone definitely had enormous mindshare throughout 2007. I bought mine day one, Friday, June 29 and I'll be buying Apple Watch on debut day as well. I am willing to make the sacrifice![]()
isn't a watch sort of a fashion statement? looks weird simply displaying a whole lot of nothing
I wear an iPod nano watch, but I'm unsure of which direction I'm leaning toward. Might order both and return the one I like the least. I fear availability will be scarce, so preordering is a must!
History suggests that people shouldn't rush out to buy the first iteration regardless.
Having a watch not use any energy to show the time when you're not looking at it, will ALWAYS be more energy efficient than having a watch have an always on display. Why would you want your display to be on when you're not looking at it?its 2015 and they still havent figured out an energy efficient way to display the time all the time? i will wait for gen 3
That's true of any product for which there will be another iteration, first or otherwise. Logic suggests you shouldn't buy any technology. Ever.History suggests that people shouldn't rush out to buy the first iteration regardless.
Can I get the print-to-size for the Apple Car?
The best time to buy any tech product is tomorrow. The same advice will apply tomorrow.

Your argument is like complaining no one has figured out an energy efficient way for me to not have to turn down the thermostat when I leave my house for a 2 week vacation in winter.
