full screen photo when someone calls

How do I use small photos? I just want to have the small one that is in my address book on my mac, just like it was before I updated to iOS 5? Help

On my 3GS I had call bar which was fantastic. I miss this feature, was hoping this would be in ios5. I know the notifications has something similar but not the same.

to get small picture u had to upload the picture on your mac address book and then sync to your iPhone.
but since IOS 5 with ICloud, it uses now if you want the cloud to sync which i think is very good, but the problem with that your picture are going to appear full screen(which i don't want), not sure if there is a fix for it.

the only fix i found is turning off contact sync cloud, and uploading your contacts the old fashion way, which i think is dumb since we can't use the cloud for our contacts anymore.

How do you get your caller's ID photo to be full screen when they call instead of just the small box in the top corner?? Sorry if this has been discussed prior, new 3G iphone guy here

How I get my contacts full screen is by the following:

1. Go to the contact in the address book
2. Tap "Edit" in the top right hand corner
3. Tap on the photo for the contact
4. Select "Edit" photo
5. When the photo comes up, use the pinch/zoom feature to move and scale the photo to the screen.
6. Save/Choose
7. Test

Exchange contacts = Small Picture.

iCloud contacts = Full Screen Picture.


For the ones you want full screen, create a new contact in iCloud (inside the contacts app, on the iphone) and give it the same name and number, both contacts will merge automatically

All of my contact photos were synced from Facebook. I also dislike that only a tiny picture shows up when they're calling... And I also dislike that it shows my lock-screen photo for calls. Kinda weird.

All my contact pics are imported from Facebook too. It's weird, sometimes the contact pic comes in full screen when someone calls and sometimes it doesn't. Not sure why.

I do have "sync" with Gmail selected on iTunes, but if that's the case, wouldn't all my pictures be small?

Good thread, I was just wondering the same thing. iOS is weird when you sync both Google contacts and iClould contacts. Weird stuff happens lol
