I wish they allowed you to choose your bundle. I have no interest in Apple News or Arcade but would like to try out Fitness.

Same, less than 0 interest in Apple news, arcade or TV but the fitness stuff is interesting. Wish I could do a bundle of just that and music.

Sony has been doing it for a while.

Doesn't make it a good idea, exactly as the Kindle's button at the bottom of the device.
App asks you for a password, you want to use touch id, and you risk to power off the device, especially if the sensor doesn't read your fingerprints very well.

Some of you weren't paying attention. Tim introduced the iPads at the beginning and said "ALL" iPad models getting an upgrade this year.

He included the pros.
the air.

If Air comes in at $499 / 128GB, its a grand slam. Though 64GB is fine for me, I've *always* been fine with base tablet storage

Okay, if they can put TouchID into the button on the iPad Air, what do you thing the chances are they can put a similar power button - along with FaceID - into the iPhone 12? Would be hugely helpful in this age of masks.

Gotta save something for iPhone 13/14/15.

Comparing iPad to "the best-selling laptop"... lol

Not comparing to the best performing laptop.

A14 on iPad before iPhone, that's notable as well.

True, but it’s hardly significant in the scheme of things for the vast majority of it’s customers - not us lot, we don’t count, we’re discussing a marketing event on a forum :)

Touch ID power button is huge in current mask world.

iPad Air has 5nm process? My iPad Pro 2018 is sweating...

You know, Apple made a big deal how the 18 Pro beat even most laptops, but there’s nothing on the iPad that has ever tested this. Mostly because the software isn’t there.
