Bundling failed subscription products into Apple One... yeah that will boost the numbers.

The fact that I've had "Apple TV+" for free for most of the past year, and am literally surrounded by Apple devices, and yet nobody in my family of 5 has felt compelled to watch anything beyond the (sadly underwhelming) "Snoopy in Space" on that service means that actually paying for this bundle is a 100% guaranteed no-go zone for me, ever.

Bundling together a pile of junk that most people don't want is the exact strategy that's causing people to flee their cable.

Just give me my 2TB of iCloud, and my iTunes Match, and leave me alone. And if they ever try to cancel Match to force me to pay for Apple Music at 10x the cost, the company will be dead to me.

Wait, iPad Air has a faster processor than the iPad Pro?

Only in single-core performance. The A12X/A12Z should still be faster in multi-core and graphics.

The 2021 iPad Pro will have the A14X and will regain the lead in single-core then, as well as even more outpace the A14 on multi-core and graphics.

Doesn't make it a good idea, exactly as the Kindle's button at the bottom of the device.
App asks you for a password, you want to use touch id, and you risk to power off the device, especially if the sensor doesn't read your fingerprints very well.

Sony had a recessed button which required a bit more effort to press if I remember correctly. I don’t think it a a bad solution but a button that sticks out will be more susceptible to accidental presses.

So basically like cable bundles forcing you to pay for channels you won’t watch.

Unfortunately yes. I hate the subscription model, but this is the way software is now. Time to just find what makes the most sense without too much expense.

Do you have to use the touch button in a certain direction with your finger for the ID to read?
