Fully Functional Java 6 on PPC

    Thanks for the link , I don't play games but am gonna throw the jar file against OpenJDK 1.7 to see what happens :)

    Can't help as my Mac is broken ATM. Though if I remember correctly you can extract the files from the .dmg to bypass it? Or something like that.

    Ok, thanks. I probably wont bother then, nothing I use explicitly cries out for Java 6 anyway. The one web site I use that grumbles over Java works when I use a different browser.

    I'm surprised more users aren't all over this thread though - Java 6 was the Holy Grail for some :)

    There's been several false alarms in the past and no one has managed to make it work.

    People are probably waiting to see if this really works before getting excited about it.
