I find American Psycho particularly funny. My brother seems to think I'm some kind of sick, murderer fan or something because he doesnt understand the film.

If you REALLY understand the film its frickin' hilarious in parts! Especially the business card bit. :D

Yeah, my personal favorite is the Phil Collins monologue. "Too artsy, too intellectual." :D

I like how they keep geting each other mixed up as well because they all dress the same, wear the same glasses, suits and hair cuts. :D Brilliant!

Glad to see I am not the only one who thought Bad Boys was really funny. Particularly the first one. "You see me, I got my shirt off, you see Mike, he half butt-naked. Then you see the white girl." :D

Loved them in all their hilarious absurdity. I think 2 was my fav. "I see you got your mind set on doing dumb s*** so please let me out!" :D

Friday was pretty great, too. Although I think I see a hemp thread running through your list of choices. ;)

That pattern is probably because some hilarious films have been made loosely around that subject.

Puff, puff, GIVE! Puff, puff, GIVE!

That was a brilliant scene but over all I was a little disappointed with the film. It had been several years since I'd read the book but I didn't think the film captured the feel of that book. Though to be fair, I'm not sure how well that would translate onto film. Maybe I'll give it another shot.

I haven't read the book but everybody says it's better than the film. Is the book quite dark in its humour too? You almost have to ignore the murderous side of the film as to me its just a side story compared to the rest. ;)

I remember it that way, yes. Some graphic scenes in that book. If a person didn't look at it as a dark comedy it could come across as downright disturbing.

You know, Dan Marino should definitely buy this car. Well, not this one, 'cause I'm gonna f**k this one up. But he should definitely get one just like it.

The Room

By far, hands down, no close runner up, The Room is the funniest movie.

Honorable mention goes to:
Blazing Saddles
Party Monster
Wet Hot American Summer

Comedies are BY FAR my favorite type of film! I have sooo many, but these are classics that I can watch over, and over, and over...There are other ones like "The Toy" and "See No Evil, Hear No Evil" and "Half Baked" and "Road Tri[" that I like as well, but these are my favs. There is nothing like a young, raw Eddie Murphy...the best!

Dr Strangelove, too, if that counts.

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here, this is the war room"

When I saw this thread title, I immediately thought I'd probably just end up +1'ing anything iBlue posted, and I was right. Especially Up in Smoke - LOL, I thought I was the only person on the planet that owned that movie.

I haven't seen Shaun of the Dead or In the Loop. I'll get them both in my Blockbuster queue right away. :D

I have to say that Blazing Saddles is my favorite comedy.

Some honorable mentions (I'm sure there are more that I like, but just can't think of them):

Up In Smoke
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
The Life of Brian
History of the World Part 1
Billy Madison
Happy Gilmore
Tommy Boy
The Big Lebowski
Office Space
Friday
Superbad
40 Year Old Virgin
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
EDIT: Kingpin

So why did The Hangover win the Golden Globe? I mean, it was funny and it had a decent plot-line, but it wasn't that funny, and the story wasn't that good. I don't get it.

OMG, has everyone forgotten Kingpin?

"I can pay you with this?
What would I do with a rubber hand?
No the ring....."

Just watched Bad Boys. Typical 90s good cop bad cop formula, yelling at each other half the time, which is pretty annoying... =/

If memory serves me correctly, I think the second one is better.

"Roy Roy Roy...your really jarred something loose there tiger."

"You got anything to read, I gotta take a crap..........I've read this already, you got any new Mint-o-dent?"

"Roy, have you heard of new beginnings?"
"Yeah isn't that that new feminine wash?"

Hangover is up there too though.
