Hilarious story, i'm confused as to why anyone would think it is fake. People try to scam you on ebay on a daily basis it's not farfetched at all...
OMG THIS IS NOT ABOUT AN IPHONE THAT I BOUGHT ONLINE!!!!!!!
this little story is about an IDIOT who sold me a LINER FOR MY POND and stopped returning my emails and CLAIMED that he had no internet connection when i KNOW FOR A FACT he had an internet connection because he had an IPHONE - i KNEW he had an IPHONE before all of his emails said SENT FROM MY IPHONE!!
REPEAT - I DID NOT BUY AN IPHONE ONLINE - I BOUGHT A LINER FOR MY POND ONLINE!!!!!!!

ok sure.. whatever you guys say. I was just telling afunny story.. either way, you go on vacation with an outstanding order that has been a headache, you TELL the person (hey, i'm not going to be around for 4-5 days)
I could go into detail of the horrible dealings with this guy, but either way, with the way EVERYTHING went, i can tell he was lying about not having access to the net.
Well, people are coming up with excuses for the person that really HAS NO EXCUSE if you knew the whole story.. it was funny, and if you read my posts, you will see that at FIRST i was PISSED, i mean, its more than half way though the landscaping summer season and i JUST started building my pond. THAT pisses me off still.. but the idea that the guy said "i have no internet WHILE the same email said SENT FROM MY IPHONE" was rather comical in a sense that the guy is an IDIOT
lindsayanng, sorry to hear that. Understood you clearly. You might want to flag some posts.
Keep in mind those who are confused did not take the 20 seconds to read the post, and are all close to newbie status. Can't believe some people are that close to GW in term of IQ...
For those who need a little help in reading comprehension,
1. OP bought a pond liner via ebay that took 2 months for seller to send.
2. Seller claims he is away and had no internet access.
3. Seller sends all his messages via iPhone.
4. Everyone who owns an iPhone takes it anywhere. Even if you have no cell service, you would find a hotspot and check email.
5. Thus showing the seller is lying that he had no connectivity.
6. The seller did not dispute that he was caught lying.
Why don't you just remove the signature from your iPhone's settings?
You go to
1. Settings
2. Mail, contacts, calendars
3. Signature
Regardless of if he has an iPhone or not; I think I would have asked him how he was able to send an email period "without internet connection."
I think this post is fake because the original poster must work for T-Mobile. It is really the only possible explanation here. The outlandish stories being told are incredulous!

*it wasnt funny at the time.. I WAS PISSED.. i bought a liner to line a pond that i had built and dug out and i had tow ait TWO MONTHS for it.. Now the pond is JUST about done and its almost time to pack it in for winter.
Yup.
Question to the O.P.: Had he sent you an e-mail WITHOUT the "iPhone" text at the end, would you have believed his E-MAIL that said he didn't have internet?
It's funny that he didn't know about the sig-line, yes, but I'm not clear on what his plan was in his mind. Did he really expect to fool you?
