So what I surmise, from your own words, is that you have been very appreciative of the fact that Apple has gone above and beyond on several occasions for you. That’s fantastic and your gratitude is well founded..good on Apple!

With that said, the second Apple doesn’t tell you that you’re special and “stop everything to fix your machine, NOW.”.you throw a hissy fit.

Nice : )

I have no idea why you felt you had to write that. At no point did I say I was special or demand anything. Baiting strangers on Internet forums is such a pointless exercise.

Nah, not baiting. Just pointing out the obvious.

I understand your frustration as I’ve been there myself. Frankly, it is frustrating to me how reliant my business has become on the reliability of my computers along with their peripherals..I get it.

Thing is, now that this is the case (reliance), it’s on me to assure a back up plan to assure I can fulfill the commitments to my clientele, and that’s the hard truth.

Your rant just wreaks a bit of self importance and smells of displaced frustration. Rather “first world” or as some would say, “rather American”…

Good luck, I sincerely hope you get it sorted out.

Fair enough. Didn't mean to - and always had a 'will do' backup. I guess it was a lot of things with Apple recently that have wound me up and this was the proverbial last straw. (Genius in the store even laughed when I said, what's with the three year old Mac Pro and somebody else's screen in the corner?) And at myself, if I'd returned it earlier when I first started having problems I would have been still in the return window but I stupidly blamed the LG screen and waited until that was replaced. Scottish incidentally - love America though!
