I'm surprised more don't share your sentiments, as I've seen many complaints that the 6's are too big.

You can be more scratch resistant or more shatter resistant, not both.I'm actually SHOCKED that a more scratch/shatter resistant glass is losing out
The number one feature that I want is for the device to be fully waterproof.
I'd prefer that the device was slightly thicker so that all models have the optical image stabilization, and the camera is flush with the back. Fill the extra volume with a larger battery.
I'd also like to see higher storage capacities. 256GB or more and I'd finally be able to replace an iPod with one. I'd be happy with 128GB and a MicroSD slot though, since you can add a 128GB card and higher capacities will surely be available later.

Harder glass/materials (e.g. Sapphire) are more scratch resistant, but they are more brittle and prone to shattering.
That's why the Apple Watch Sport uses glass instead of sapphire.

I haven't checked out the iPhone 6 in person yet and that's something I will do soon (tomorrow?). But I think it'll be the perfect size. Something like the iPhone 6 / Sony Z3c size with the 6+'s battery would be awesome.
I have an iPhone 5s and I think it's too small although it fits awesome in my skinny jeans. I wouldn't mind a larger phone (previous GNexus owner) though.
How was the size for ya? What did you end up doing?
If rumors hold, this could be possible in the next product cycle or two.I'd like it to be waterproof and strong/durable - basically, I'd like it to be as if I had it in a Lifeproof case, without having to buy/use a Lifeproof case. Next after that would be battery life, because that's always a nice feature no matter how good it currently is. All the other stuff is low or non-existent on my wants list.
