I currently have a 2019 macbok pro 16 inch and been look at the air I all ways had the bigger screen MacBook Pros and just wonder has any one moved dow from a MacBook Pro 16 to air 13 inch was there much of a change to get use to two 🙂

If you've always had the "larger-screen" MBP's, I predict you'll soon become unhappy with a 13" display.

I'd be looking at the 2021 MBP 16" instead...

Im looking to have the same power as in my 16 inch but more compacted to be honest as the still want my iMac and MacBook Pro to be smiler spec once I move to apple silicon chips from intel

A long time ago I went from a 17" to a 13". So happy I did: I hated the 17" because it always felt so cumbersome and I didn't like the larger screen as much as I thought I would. I really much prefer my laptops to be compact.
However, I have a 27" iMac when I really need a big screen. (Or add a monitor to the laptop.) In comparison a 16"/17" screen is only marginally better than a 13"/14" screen, IMO.

However, there are many that feel the complete opposite. It really is just personal preference.

Stick to 16" as your preference has been that size, anything smaller and you'll hate it. However, if you are unsure, go into an Apple Store and try a 13" machine out.

I suggest trying out in a store does not really give you enough time to get acclimatized to the smaller screen. Like driving a bigger or smaller car, it feels weird at first, but the human brain adapts. You may need to take advantage of the 14-day return period to really tell.

It doesn't fully enable you to have a complete idea, but it does give you a sense of what to expect.
