When ordered it was Oct. 3-10, but now says Oct. 6-13. I thought it might go the other direction due to order cancelations, but moving it out seems to indicate possible delays on their end.

I went with the alpine band as it had the earliest shipping date, but also ordered a trail band which won't ship until mid November :-|Many times the band selection will delay your Ultra. If you insisted on one of the Trail bands then it will be late.
Same here. I ordered both black/grey and blue/grey to arrive in November.I went with the alpine band as it had the earliest shipping date, but also ordered a trail band which won't ship until mid November :-|
Yes, UPS has a hub in Anchorage and a flight where it sends Apple goods straight from China nonstop to Anchorage. I think other companies use different routes, depending where they have their hubs.Mine says it's in Alaska.
Mine too. At least that's what I'm guessing. UPS history shows a couple spots in China, Alaska and then S. Korea. Probably because of time zones it lists S. Korea last.Huh. Mine says it's in Alaska.
It might not be in Anchorage yet, there are entries from the customs import process that will show the country/state where it will be imported, ahead of arrival. It's a bit confusing and can switch back and forth a couple of times. Usually checking flightradar24 to see if the timestamps match the time the UPS plane landed in Anchorage can help determine if it was actually already on the airplane. But the timestamps in the package tracking are sometimes confusing since it will create a timestamp when the package is unloaded and scanned, not when the flight touches down.Probably because of time zones it lists S. Korea last.
I have heard that one before. The only 100% reliable company I worked with is DHL Express for the sole reason they deliver exclusively to the delivery address on the package and don't partner with anyone to hand off packages someplace else for the customers to pick them up. That is great because whatever they don't deliver, they are forced to put on the delivery truck again the next day. We've now go full circle because we've ended up back with the delivery company we began with.
My eta is still October 20-27. I hoped it would be delivered early but it’s pretty clear that won’t happen. I chose the blue/gray trail loop.
Wait, your Ultra delivery has already been attempted? Where are you located, if you don't mind sharing?Surprisingly delivery was moved to today and the watch was out for delivery with UPS, ended up with the status that it was "delivered to a UPS partner" (not even a failed delivery attempt recorded) despite no UPS truck ever parking in this street. Called up Apple and apparently they are already having many complaints about no-shows. The rep called up UPS with me on the line and quickly laid down the law. So now they're going back to the "UPS partner" to pick it up and it will be on the delivery truck again tomorrow.
I told them I don't really care whether it's here this week or next as long as delivery companies stop pretending to deliver packages. Now the status says "There is a delivery change in progress to deliver the package to the original receiver's address." which is even more confusing. Why does it need a change in order to deliver something to the "original address"? Where else would you possibly want to deliver it if not to the address printed on the shipping label?
Boggles my mind how these companies will literally express fly packages overnight to make it to the delivery depot just in time, only to then not even pretend to attempt delivery.

Same experience. Also could get nothing substantive out of Apple. I’m sure this has happened before, but I think it is rare. Let’s hope that they are setting us up to over deliver (by under promising)This is happening to almost everyone who is not getting their watch on September 23. It looks like the initial run of watches were fully accounted for and there might be some supply chain issues. I reached out to Apple and they refused to answer any questions about the date slipping, outside of saying that they will try to get my watch to me “as soon as possible”. I know, it is frustrating. I will be watching in-store inventory starting this weekend and will hopefully get lucky.
Yeah, trail loop (Black) for me too, but so far, my date of October 24-31 is holding.
The trail loop is the most problematic as it's the most popular, by far.
Just a reminder that comparing delivery dates does not necessarily tell us which versions and SKUs are more popular UNLESS you have data about supply as well.Yeah, trail loop (Black) for me too, but so far, my date of October 24-31 is holding.

I don't get this... The first shipment of Apple Watch Ultras just landed in the USA an hour ago...Surprisingly delivery was moved to today and the watch was out for delivery with UPS, ended up with the status that it was "delivered to a UPS partner" (not even a failed delivery attempt recorded) despite no UPS truck ever parking in this street.
