Yes, but note that it is PC3-8500 and runs at 1066 MHz rather than 1333 MHz. Doubtful you'd ever notice the difference in the real world.

Anyone have any reviews/feedback of how the RAM is working in their MBPs? I've never bought GSkill before.

Not sure if this is the exact same kit, but I bought the 8GB PC3-8500-CL7D kit for $55. Even if available for less, still a steal at $55.

First thing I did was boot into a MemTest86 CD and it all tested clear on the first pass. It's been working great on both Snow Leopard and Lion.

I've never had G. Skill before, either, and was a little leery, but the Newegg reviews were so positive and Newegg's customer service is generally great, so it seemed worth the risk.

Paid off well so far!

Run MemTest from here. Just boot into single user mode (hold command-S as before the chime as the computer starts) and run the test.
