I'm selling my Camaro and upgrading.

I can't decide which. I can afford both pretty much.

G35 Coupe (2005-2006)

More modern look.
Nice sound to it.
Back seat.
Fantastic Interior

Corvette (2002-2004)
Faster
Lower to the ground
Removable Roof (Targa Top)

Just a simple vote will make me happy. Thanks

A) Do you need the back seat? B) What are your needs when it comes to practicably?

If no need for a backseat and you have another daily driver, go 'Vette. Nothing beats a Chevy Small Block V8.

I love the corvette. I seem to be the only person my age that likes them though. Everyone thinks they are for older men.

My back seat in the Camaro has come in handy a lot. I just can't imagine a DD without a back seat.

I just wish the G35 had the LS1 power and the nice american muscle sound, but that's a dream...

G35. GM is going under and in deep trouble... I don't think GM can really stay competitve against the other brands, especially japanese imports.

Well the cars will be used, so it doesn't really matter kinda..

Oh.. in that case, I'd probably go with the G35 still for a little better reliability over the Corvette.

I agree.

Only thing I'm going to miss is the speed. This will be my first import car. Do you think overtime I can make this thing fast. Things like a T/T in it? I plan on keeping the car for a while.

Any car is mod-able if you have the money for it. I have to ask, is it going to be an automatic or manual?

In that case he has to go 'Vette. Even with the latest LS3, $3K worth of mods has increased HP by a lot. The Small Block V8's are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to moding too. Hell, a group got 1600 HP out the the LS7 by just slapping two turbochargers on it. Eat that Veryon using a W16 and 4 turbo's. :p

I know the corvette will always be faster, but I guess I can live with a G35. The G35 is more practical for my age too. That's what many people my age have told me.

It's not like I'll be taking it to the track of course either. I'll be honest, the speed is just for ego. That's why I'm going towards the G35.

When you drive currently, do you actually use the power? I know whenever I drive, I have to take the car above 5k rpm or i won't be happy.

All the time. Of course, I just have a V6 camaro right now too. And it's mildly quick. The G35 will be a great upgrade. Plus the car right now is an automatic.

If he gets the vette, you have to also factor in the costs of getting gold chains, outdated clothes, and chest hair. :D

Much as I like the Vette, the G35 will be better day-to-day. The only thing is everyone I see driving them has the same look about them.. condescending, preppy (in a well-aged sort of way) and self important. I'm not that typifies the average driver of it, but I've seen a few around and the drivers are always preppy-dressed older-middle-aged guys.

I'd go with the G35 sedan. Them's sharp.

I had a G35 Sedan with the Aero package (spoiler and 5 spoke rims) and tinted windows for a few years. I loved it. What a beautiful car. It was so much fun to drive. The only reason I sold it was because I needed an SUV for my move across the continent to Los Angeles from Toronto. Otherwise, I'd still be driving that sweetness.

When it's time for my next car purchase, I'm going back to Infiniti.

I'd go for the G35, personally. I can't think of a Vette without thinking of Sam Malone:
