Yeah. If I buy it would have to be on contract because the only phone I'd pay that much for is the iPhone. At least I'd know that it will be supported with software updates for years to come and will have excellent after sales support and that I can run high quality apps on it. I couldn't get the same guarantees with a Samsung/android phone and for that reason I don't think it's worth as much as an iPhone. At the same time I don't want to use up my upgrade on this device. I'll probably end up with the iPhone 6 plus S and just play around with the nexus 7 (2013) I bought at the weekend. As nice as these new Samsung phones are, I'm too heavily invested in the apple ecosystem (iPhone, 2x iPads, apple watch, MacBook Air, Apple TV) to spend this much on q secondary device.
