WoW Shadowlands is working, albeit with a few bugs (see the Mac Technical Support Forums).

My experience of WoW Shadowlands

This was on the M1 Mac mini, at 1920x1200, FXAA high

preset 5: solid 60fps, all outdoors area plus Oribos
(actually more like 58~61, frametime seems a little bit inconsistent, though common for integrated graphics)

preset 7: 60fps in Maldraxxus, dips to around 50 in Bastion from time to time

preset 10: ~40fps in Bastion

WoW Classic runs at preset 10 60fps through Rosetta 2, though I only did some mining in Silithus, no dungeon or raid tested.

What spec m1 mini do you? 8 or 16gb?

Mac Mini 16GB, WoW Shadowlands @ 3440x1440, set at 10 on graphics with shadows off and averaging 50fps. Totally playable vs all previous macOS devices without a dGPU.

Hey, I have the mini 8g/512gb and I love it and I play WoW on it. I run 1920x1080p windowed on level 8 settings with cmaa antialising. It pretty much sits at 60fps. If I go to level 10 It will drop in spots but have not been below 30fps. One thing I have noticed is Ardenweald for some reason really tanks the FPS, it struggled there usually around 30pfs. all the other zones hug 60fps. Even combat or in a big fight it drops a little but is really quite amazing. I leveled to 60 on the mini with no issues. Running Wow in a window says ram at 7meg but never sluggish and swaps a little on a long WoW play time but you never notice it. No stutters or hesitation at all. I am really really shocked how good it runs and I still not sure I heard the fan run. Anymore questions let me know!

I keep going back and forth whether get that config which is in stock locally or go for 16/1tb even though I plan on ditching it when the imac or the mac pro come out.
Sorry, it's 16gb not 8, dunno what I was thinking.

I'm glad I went with the 16. My memory usage on the M1 was already above 8gb with just Safari, Battle.net and some basic productivity tools open. Didn't even start code writing or gaming yet and 8gb of ram is already not enough.
