Sorry for bothering you again.
But one more question just came to my mind:
I have read reports that the original Bumper scratched the iPhone's metal surface in some cases. And some guessed that might be due to the hard plastic on the inside of the Bumper constantly rubbing against the steel. Others argued that this is the inevitable consequence of dust and stuff like that gathering between the Bumper and the metal.
When I saw pictures of the scratches I came to the opinion that it probably was the Bumper itself that caused the small damage.

So what's your impression of the Band? Do you think it could also produce marks and small dints? Or does it look softer on the inside than the Apple Bumper?
 
I've been using the white/grey band for over a month now taken it off and put it back on many times (sometimes I just do it when I'm bored)...never had a problem...it hasn't ever in any way affected the metal band around the phone...and it's still as solid and clean as when I first got it...
 
Shout out to Big Ellis for this thread.. Finally bought red/black... with carbon fibre skin and put some red tape for the logo..

First of all thanks guys for the great pics and review, after this tread I ordered the band for my new phone.

Just curious (and worried) after an year of this review - is anybody had problems with band conserning it can scratch the metal of the iPhone?
