Article: The next Apple Watch reportedly has a video chat camera
http://www.engadget.com/2015/06/18/apple-watch-2-leak/

"The first Apple Watch might have only just reached stores, but that isn't stopping rumors about Cupertino's next wearable. Sources for 9to5Mac claim that Apple already has some big plans for its second-generation Watch, and the highlight would be a front camera for video calls -- "

The same reason your using a 1" crippled smart phone on your wrist instead of the one in your pocket ;)

How is that even a fair comparison?

Reading a text message: Identical experience on both devices.

Identifying/answering a call: Identical experience on both devices

Reading any notification: Same experience on both devices.

Facetime? Yeah, seeing a friend or loved one on a 1" screen is the same as a 5" screen  I actually prefer to Facetime on my Mac where the experience is even nicer than the iPhone.

I actually like the way they implemented calling. I can accept a call on my watch at home without taking my phone out or having it in the room. Don't have to hold my arm up. Works perfect for me personally. I also don't think I would want to face time. I'd rather have them shrink the bezel honestly.

They would need to do some tricky magic with the battery; that's why this model doesn't have one already. It would be more useful to me as a forward facing camera for quick shots stored on the phone.

I'd much rather have generous battery life improvements over many new features, such as a camera on the watch. I like the watch the way it is personally.
I have yet to even use Facetime on the phone and Ive had it almost two years.
