I am a male, I got a black iPhone 4S.

I will use the current data as of now:

Male, black 160
Male, white 234
Female, black 16

Binomial test: People prefer white over black, p < 0.00001

Fisher's Exact test: Men and women do not have significantly different preferences, p = 0.18

For years upon years, Apple only sold white iPods and iBooks. Apparently they were only purchased and used by women.

I had a white iBook and wish I had gotten a PowerBook. Wasn't a fan of the white...

My first iPod was the Video in black, and my iPad is black, as is my iPhone.

Just not a fan of the white on them - and my questioning of anyone having a white one wouldn't have a darn thing to do with their sexual orientation (hey, I'm from CA), just my perceptions of their taste!

That said, short of the mobile manager at BEst Buy, I've never seen anyone with a white mobile phone. I guess I should go people watch at the Apple store.

Oh and I'm thinking we need more females around here!

Everyone has black phones. I like the white because its very sleek looking and its different. Nothing girly about either one in my opinion. Get what you want....don't worry about what other people think, because at the end of the day....you are the one paying the bill lol....not them
