How much SOT are you getting? Can you share a screenshot?
I’d love to, but screen time and battery stats are not functioning properly for me. Safari isn't even listed and that’s nearly all I’ve been doing.

Something else interesting I noticed is third-party apps recognized my iPad Air as an iPad Air in DB2, but it’s recognized as a Mac in DB3!

Beta worksnicely on the M4 Pro, but also surprisingly nice on the Mini6. In Europe, the lack of Apple Intelligence is a slap in the face.

Yeah, the betas working great on my M4 as well! As to Apple Intelligence and the EU, well, the EU shouldn’t be trying to penalize Apple with so many arbitrary and ever-changing edicts…. I don’t blame Apple for not wishing to risk another fine when the EU would just arbitrarily decide Siri is a “monopoly”, “gatekeeper service”, or whatever other such nonsense… I do feel bad for the people in the EU who are impacted due to the EU Commission’s actions, but I think it’s completely understandable if Apple doesn’t want to ship new features there that that regime may arbitrarily decide they should fine them over…

WTF happened to Siri AI? Installed the public beta a few days ago - it was amazing at searching my messages, etc. for answers - but then it started crapping our on general ('world'?) knowledge questions... now it's like it's back to dumb Siri, failing at those personal queries! (M3 iPad Air, indexing finished yesterday)

I’ve been really happy with iPadOS 27 using it on my daily driver iPad. I am really noticing snappier performance in some areas, and the battery runtime’s been great! A really nice performance update. But Siri AI is truly revolutionary. So many times situations where I would have had to spend lots of time looking through buried notes or texts to find information I need quickly, now Siri AI can do it in seconds. For my workflow, it’s been a huge improvement. And Describe a Shortcut in Shortcuts is awesome! I’ve been building Shortcuts for a while, so am pretty familiar with the primary available actions, but Describe a Shortcut allows me to add onto that with even more complex shortcuts and automations. And Describe an Extension in Safari is another really cool addition, I’ve already been able to build a couple simple Safari Extensions to streamline aspects of my workflow. I’m really excited about the direction things are moving with Siri AI! 👍🏻

I’m finding beta 4 to be a bit of a step back, 1-3 worked pretty good, but 4 is seeming pretty buggy laggy and a step back, but still useable. Mostly being annoyed by how much safari seems to need to reload pages.
Not too surprised, I’ve run enough betas to know sometimes things go backwards before they get better again!

I am finding the same. My MacBook Pro is still on Tahoe as that is where the majority of my work is done. My M2 iPad Pro 12.9 is running the beta though. Have had to reconnect the handshake that happens between the MacBook Pro and iPad when moving my mouse from one device to the next. Has been perfect up to this update. Also sometimes the onscreen keyboard will just not be there and I will have to restart. I don't think I had any issues that I noticed on the previous beta version.

Yeah looking forward to beta 5 on Monday as 4 is quite rough (edit: i got the timings wrong, b5 will be another week… sigh)

I upgraded my 11" M4 iPad Pro to an M5 about a month ago - really glad I did!

Other than future proofing and faster charging what specifically are you noticing that made it worth it?

M4 to M5 seems incredibly modest upgrade

The biggest perk for me of going M4 is the colossal savings I got on the 1tb nano cellular model.

And staying on iPadOS 18 where M4 ships with iPadOS 26. May be moot by iPadOS 27 release but it’s tied me over all year

WiFi 7, more RAM, faster GPU and CPU and 120hz external display support. Those were big enough for me that made the trade in I got from Apple worth it. I
