You can also describe an extension which is what I did. Seems to be working.There's a workaround for the Safari Top-of-Page Unresponsive bug that i posted in another thread yesterday.
Use a Safari extension like Makeover to set per-site CSS to move webpages down:
CSS:body { position: relative; top: 25px; }
Sadly, I have run into this one too many times and it is frustrating (though I fully understand that is what I get for running a beta).Luckily, I haven’t encountered any of the top of web page bugs in Safari. 👍🏻
Yeah, hopefully the next beta fixes the bugs, and I wish so many weren’t impacted by it. It is kind of strange to me, it seems a fairly major bug, and it seems to be affecting a lot of people, yet historically this would be the least likely time to encounter a bug like this only about a month or two away from new hardware announcements and public release. I wonder if it has anything to do with the new MacBook hardware, foldable iPhone, or something. But hopefully the next beta will fix it for those encountering it. 🙂👍🏻Sadly, I have run into this one too many times and it is frustrating (though I fully understand that is what I get for running a beta).
Yeah, I've been running into the top of the web page bugs.. strangely it's happening recently. Upon updating… didn't encounter any of those bugs. So, I've been using Beam Browser until a fix comes along… and it's not only Safari, iMessage has been part of it too. But I'm able to use Siri to direct message people or use quick reply under Notification Center.Luckily, I haven’t encountered any of the top of web page bugs in Safari. 👍🏻
Yes same for me as you notice my list. Lots of issue with this beta 5That is a long list. I think this iPad beta is the most buggy beta I have experienced since doing the beta program. Usually have few if any issues. Sure hope a fix comes soon. The bugs not only affect Safari, but some apps too and usually are preventing typing or clicking.
Chrome sucks. I use Firefox or DuckDuckGo when sites misbehave in Safari (which seems to be less frequent now with 27). They’re different from Safari, but they’re not bad. And there’s a way to import your bookmarks from Safari in DDG, if that helps.Unfortunately, Safari is just unusable now. Tried Chrome, but that is no where near as good as Safari usually is. Missing the bookmark tabs and bookmarks are buried. Sure hope Apple comes out with a new beta next week.
Yes, Control Center works on extended displays on extended displays on iPadOS 27. I’ll test it later to see if I’m encountering the same bug on this build.Am I imaging things or were you able to invoke control center on an external monitor in previous dev builds? I can no longer seem to do it.
I tested it on mine, and Control Center still works on an extended display on the latest beta for me. 👍🏻Am I imaging things or were you able to invoke control center on an external monitor in previous dev builds? I can no longer seem to do it.
Strangely enough, I restarted my iPad and now it works. Very strange - but I'm glad it's back functional.I tested it on mine, and Control Center still works on an extended display on the latest beta for me. 👍🏻
