I’d like to see what everybody thinks about the new iPad Pro. So far, I’ve seen mixed reviews, and making a poll allows me to determine the majority and minority. Please comment down below why you like/don’t like the new iPad Pro. It’d help out a lot!

I apologize for my English. Cheers! :)

I have owned them all and it is the most capable iPad I have had to date. Super fast and after using my X for over a year the FaceID was a welcome addition. Favorite time is in the morning, listening to some music while I catch up on emails and news while drinking coffee.
That’s awesome! When I get the new iPad Pro, I plan on doing all the things you’ve mentioned above.

The new Pro's are gorgeous, but so are the 1st and 2nd gens. My second Gen Pro is amazingly fast. I would get pretty much the same experience on a new Pro. The apple pencil is one of the best stylus I have used and other than the double tap, does not offer anything new. But that didn't stop me from having the upgrade fever real bad. But I was able to control myself this year. Waiting for next years offerings.

Had a first-gen iPad back when it was just an overblown iPhone. Didn't really do much with it, so I eventually got rid of it when Target had a great trade-in deal for iTunes gift cards.

Decided to pick up an 11" Pro to start doing digital drawing, since I wanted to get back into drawing and felt like it was time to switch to digital instead of colored pencils and a sketchbook. (I miss the smell, but that's about it). This was right before the announcement but the event invitations had gone out, plus I knew new iPads were highly likely to come out. So I decided to wait to see what was announced before buying.

For me, I find the new iPads quite nice for drawing. Having the bezel be the same size all around makes it a great screen to draw on, and the magnetic attachment and inductive charging of the Pencil is very convenient. I think I chose a good time to get started on using an iPad for art, and I can't see myself needing a replacement for a long time. The display is smooth when zooming/panning/rotating the canvas, but that's just "oh, that's nice". As long as the pencil works with no lag, I'm good.

I bought my husband the original pencil for his 6th-generation iPad last week and tried it out to see how it felt, and the gloss finish really does make it slipperier and charging isn't as convenient. I'm surprised the Lightning genderchanger hasn't disappeared yet, and the lack of any kind of tether on the cap seems like a bad design decision. He got an extra tip and I didn't, but I picked up an extra box of 4 (for a total of 5 now) while at the store.

My opinion is that you should had worded your poll differently.

I chose opinion one for it's the only iPad Pro that I have ever owned. Just my .02 cents...

Although I plan on buying the 12.9 inch, I can see where you’re coming from.
I bought the 12.9 and returned it for the 11. I owned the 12.9 second gen and sold it for the current model. For my personal use, the 11 is a tad more portable which was my preference. The new 12.9 is significantly smaller however, amazing work from their design team.

I usually don’t worry about portability when it comes to iPads. Some people don’t travel as much, you know?

I really like the new 12.9’. The only thing that was somewhat of a deal breaker for me was trying to type on the digital keyboard with my thumbs while on the couch/in bed. It’s not comfortable. I have big hands, and even in Portrait orientation it was slightly difficult.

Other than that, I loved it compared to my 11’. The screen size is amazing. I’ll likely buy if the price comes down in the future. Not trying to persuade you, you cant go wrong with either model. They’re both fantastic tablets.

I went iOS only in 2013 and haven’t looked back. I upgrade my iPad every release cycle and this is by far the most impressed I’ve been with the upgrades from the previous gen. I bought the 12.9 gen 3 Pro because portability is not an issue. I primarily use it at home because I hung on to my 10.5 Pro from 2017 to use as my away-from-home tablet. That said this 12.9 is fantastic. Screen is beautiful, FaceID is even better on iPad and the reduction in size makes it the perfect size for my needs. Plus I can’t believe how thin it is! Oh and no matter how hard I’ve tried, I can’t even come close to pushing the A12X to its limits.

I’m
I do use mine more than my phone. At home I don't touch the phone unless someone calls.
same... i could pretty easily cut out my phone and just have watch and iPad. I may end up sticking with the 8 plus for a long time because spending a lot of money on a phone doesn’t seem worth it to me anymore.
