I think there is a good chance I'll be getting one from best buy this week. I need to go look for a moving coupon. If I'm understanding correctly I just need to go ask for one at a post office and I don't need to sign anything....?
Simply ask a clerk at the counter. I went up and asked her for a moving packet and she said "How Many?". I told her two. So now I have an extra 10% coupon just in case I need something else.
At mine they are just in the same area they keep all other forms (for insurance, etc). I *might* have grabbed a couple
Typing this on my new iPad 64gb wifi Air2. They only had the white silver one in stock which is fine. Anyway like I said I got the movers pack coupon before going which can be used both in store and online.
Went to Best Buy, was nearly empty. Went to the customer service section and told them I wanted to trade in the air for the air2. The lady took my iPad and kept telling me how much I rocked since I still had the original slipcover and original packaging. She didn't even bother taking it out of the slipcover, just turned it on and examined the back. I did include the charger and cable. Didn't wanna risk not getting the full $300. I rarely use it for anything other than charging so it stays In once place most of the time.
It was pretty smooth until she told me to go to the back of the store towards the computer section to grab the iPad. Of course there was only one guy manning it and he was doing the hard sell on a couple looking at laptops so after a few minutes they brought a someone else. Nice kid. There were some hiccups though. At first he rang the discount in the wrong order so the transaction had to be cancelled and he had to bring in the supervisor out to restart it. I handed him the movers pack coupon first, then he did both gift card and the $50 coupon. Swiped my card but again something went wrong and the super had to come over again. He looked at the receipt and said whatever I paid for it fair and square. Was worried for some reason my CC was rejected but payment went through.
Total price: $279. Not bad at all. Didn't have to dick around on ebay or CL trying to offload my 16gb and had I waited any longer I doubt I could have gotten $300 anyway.

Cool deal! I think I'll be hitting the post office on my lunch break tomorrow. Then I'll be deciding on what to buy. I think I'll end up keeping my retina mini but also buying the 64GB white Air 2. I just hope my post office has the movers coupon. It's a deal breaker if I can't find one.

That's freaking awesome. This definitely seals the deal that I am buying it from best buy this week. Those coupons in combination are an absolute steal for a first week iPad launch purpose. The purchase will also help me get to elite for next year again too!

Traded in my iPad 2 and got the $200, even without cables or charger, or anything. Just the bare iPad. It's nice to have a spare iPad charger for my iP6 now - it charges so fast!
Now if only the cellular models would come in stock... I'd be writing this on an Air 2.

Thank you for this thread - I didn't know about the $50 trade in. Was going to wait for Black Friday but I think this is just as good.
Trying to decide if using a mover's coupon is morally acceptable.
In any case, do you know if I trade in and they don't happen to have the exact model I want, will I be able to pay for it right there to get the discount and wait for it to ship to the store? The extra $50 ends on 11/8.

I have the 10% movers coupon. Now where are you guys getting the $50 trade in cpn from best buy? You automatically get that when you trade in an iPad? Thank you.
Yes. When you trade in an iPad 2 and above you get the trade in value on a gift card as well as a $50 coupon to be used towards an iPad Air 2 purchase. It should automatically print with the trade in reciept.
Also, I got a small break earlier today and went to the post office. Was able to secure a packet, and it had the movers coupon. I might end up using it today. I don't feel wrong using it. In fact it makes sense to me because I just moved about a year ago, and never did a change of address. My old mail still gets delivered to my parents. So asking for one was legitimate on my part.

Order online full price for in store pickup. Do the trade, and price adjustment when it comes in. You just have to trade in by the 8th, and use the coupons by the 15th.

If you are not trading in, this deal won't apply to you, but, yes you can order online and I believe you can apply your GCs at the same time. The space grey models were the only ones not available online, the last time I looked.
I just took advantage of this. Trading my ipad and ipod touch. I got my Air 2 64gb for 240 in the end. Even better than a black Friday deal.
I had an iPad air 32 gb and had no intention of upgrading until I saw the Best Buy deal. So I researched iPad air values on EBay. 32 gb models selling for around $400 regularly. Ok so Best Buy is offering $300 plus $50 coupon. This is a no brainier. After EBay and PayPal fees I am getting more from Best Buy with no chance of a deadbeat EBay buyer trying to rip me off. Now I see I can use the 10% coupon available at the post office. I drove up to the post office, got 3 packs of change of address, and now I have 3 coupons to use as I need.
My local Best Buy had 64 gb models in stock. So I headed to the store at The Loop. Walked in asked for the 64 gb model, went to customer service, they checked my iPad , gave me $301 gift card and the coupon. They did not ask for cables or charger, Nice. Very easy process took about 5 minutes. Went to the checkout with the Air 2. I handed the clerk my 50$ and 10% coupon. He scanned them both no problem. The computer did take the 10% off after the $50 coupon, but hey I'm not complaining as it still saved me $55. Next my $301 gift card and to top it all off I had $150 in store credit to boot. Now due about $38 cash. I say oh ya, just doubled my storage and got a brand new IPad for $35 bucks. Thank you Mac Rumor forums.

Traded my iphone 5 in for 225 have the gift card since I bought my iphone 6 at best buy. Have a 10 percent from actually moving and would get 225 for rMini 16. Debating whether to leap to ipad air2 or not

I had no intention of upgrading until this deal appeared. I have to say that the Air 2 is noticeably faster than the Air. And even though the display is the same resolution, it defiantly looks more vibrant and looks to be right on the glass.
I want to take advantage of this great deal but my local BestBuy does not have the instock the Gold 64GB Air 2 Wifi I'm looking for. Am I able to trade in my old iPad, receive the credit and $50 bonus and put it towards the Air 2 when it arrives instock?
