It's not. Published by Simon and Schuster. And in the introduction he writes "Apple did not see this book before publication, but did offer access to many of its current executives and designers.)"
As a unemployed graphic designer, I can't believe they actually paid somebody to make that cover. "Jacket design by Math Monahan." I don't know why he calls himself Math, but if I made that cover I wouldn't put my real name on it either.
It's just a big missed opportunity. When I think apple, I don't think about the iPod scroll wheel, even though I think it was a fabulous invention.

Liquid glass would have been inconvenient.
The lack of a headphone jack is a bummer, though. At least it has haptic touch.

But the audio CD version costs even more and probably doesn’t have lots of pictures.

I’m surprised the Steve Jobs by Walter issacson biography book isn’t like that. I used to borrow it from the library one time for the book club in high school English class.

That book was everywhere, and is still in print. The ones on eBay were a very limited run, and the asking price doesn't mean they are selling at that price.

It’s a bit expensive but it’s more of a coffee table book than a normal hardcover—it’s oversized and almost every page has a color graphic.
Then the price of all books are steep, per the way you make that kind of assessment.
I'd prefer to wait when the SE or NEO versions come out. Should be the same content just a little cheaper.
This book should be a gift from apple to everyone who has warranty registered 10 or more devices with apple in the last 50 years. In other words ... chumps like me.

I think I bought my copy on sale for around $35? It's been a while. Good read, however.

Just to be clear, it may be LISTED for that price, but if you dig a little deeper, you’ll find that it isn’t selling for even close to that. At best, 1250. Still a nice appreciation, but it’s not quite as impressive.
Also, I know it’s been said, but the cover of this Pogue book is seriously weak. Pass.

I have neither currently but have seen some of his post on there in the past.
Haunting because in a couple of post he mentions reviewing I believe the 17 pro ? Then the videos never dropped for one reason or another.
David Pogue isn't a name I've heard in a long time. I bought his book, The Missing Manual: Tiger, way back when I got my first Mac.
