I don't think this is an official Apple product. Or is it?For a company that prides itself on design, the cover looks self-published.

It's not. Published by Simon and Schuster. And in the introduction he writes "Apple did not see this book before publication, but did offer access to many of its current executives and designers.)"I don't think this is an official Apple product. Or is it?

That same book unopened is going for a lot more now
Thanks!Naw...
The only book to read these days on Apple is 'Apple in China'. The bad, the bad and the ugly...
Oh how I miss Detroitborg. When I want to look at that book I can any time I want and enjoy it, and even have the convenience of it being an “ebook” if you know what I mean! Best of all, this copy is free!
Liquid glass would have been inconvenient. It’s unapologetically paper.
But the audio CD version costs even more and probably doesn’t have lots of pictures.$50 for a hardback book with lots of pictures is not steep at all.

I’m surprised the Steve Jobs by Walter issacson biography book isn’t like that. I used to borrow it from the library one time for the book club in high school English class.View attachment 2613395

Completely different kind of book. That was a an art book with a small print run. This is a mass market hardback. $50 is pretty steep!
Then the price of all books are steep, per the way you make that kind of assessment. It is when you can find on the bargain table a year later.
...or just borrow it at the library for free.
I think I bought my copy on sale for around $35? It's been a while. Good read, however.I’m surprised the Steve Jobs by Walter issacson biography book isn’t like that. I used to borrow it from the library one time for the book club in high school English class.
Just to be clear, it may be LISTED for that price, but if you dig a little deeper, you’ll find that it isn’t selling for even close to that. At best, 1250. Still a nice appreciation, but it’s not quite as impressive.View attachment 2613395
