The bottom line criticism of this thread is the following:

Apple should have a good supply of all models and configurations from day 1; especially in the USA its HOME turf.

Why do I need to wait an addition 4 weeks for an LTE mini? MAKES ZERO sense.

Same reason you still can't go in and buy an iPhone 5. $$$$$$$$$$$. At the end of the day, they are milking it for every dollar we have. They know the products will sell regardless, even if a few unholy morally-stripped demon freaks manage to return a few.

It's a morally wrong thing to do because your intent was never to keep it from the start. Apple will have to sell it as refurbished after you do that. That's the kind of thing that ruins it for everyone. If enough people do that, everyone will get stuck with restocking fees again.

False. Apple will in turn sell 2 devices, the returned iPad to someone holding out for a refurb, and the new iPad 4 w/ LTE. And trust me, they'll make plenty of margins on both. So actually, the guy is helping Apple. But please, keep being a white knight for Apple.

It's morally wrong for Apple not to have their **** stocked on day one. They didn't have 64 GB iPhones on launch, should I feel bad that a 700 million dollar company had to eat the price of the 32gb I had to buy? Maybe they should have held off on the wifi models until they got cellular, to avoid the situation.

I got a 64gb iPhone 5 at launch.
