From past experience, you can't really get rid of that shiny look.

That's why when I got my MBA, I made sure I had a keyboard cover ready. lol

So to avoid further wearing down of the keys, just get a cover.
 
What I'm wondering is, is apple aware of this flaw they have with their black keys on their keyboards? You would think they should sell a replacement kit which would have all the keys. :rolleyes:

What the hell are you going to erase? :confused: The texture of the keys is worn... now unless you use something that will make all of your keys shiny, your going to have to live with it.
 
The finish of the black keys gets worn off. Nothing you can do about it but use a keyboard cover. It happens on white keys too but you just can't see it as well.
