Hmm... bummer. Have you tried getting different iPhone 4s?Apple..., sorry about the spelling. We have cases on both phones. I have never been bothered by the "antenna-gate" issue. Just don`t touch the phone there. My friend has a Sony Ericsson. He shows the same signal as our iphones, but he can make and receive calls. Some times my phone will receive a call, but drops the call as soon as it is answered. Like I said before, our old iphone 3g phones, I could make and receive calls from anywhere that showed a signal. The more I think about it, there has to be issues with our phones, if all iphone 4 worked like these, there would be a great uproar, look what happen with someone figured out if you touch the gap, the signal drops.
No. Just stay on Verizon - wait for the iPhone. As for Swype, it won't be happening. I emailed Steve Jobs about it three months ago and he said no (seriously - if you want the full email, just contact meI made the switch from 3GS to Verizon and the Droid X. After a month of use, all I can say is Apple has a lot of catching up to do. First, Verizon's coverage is light years ahead of AT&T. No more dropped calls and 3G data everywhere. Second, the phone actually does what I want it to do. You have everything from widgets to tasker, not to mention almost an inch bigger screen that displays close to twice the page as the iPhone. Third, this talk about polished apps is jibberish. Major app runs just as well on Android. I will say that the gam selection isn't as broad.
I'm interested to see what's in store for the next iPhone. Maybe I'll switch back is Apple let's me change a setting within 4 screens, allows swype, voice to texte, etc. In the meantime, I'll stick with a phone that does what I want, rather than what Steve Jobs.
I guess it depends on where you live...My dad had a blackberry curve on sprint for 2 years and it was dropped calls 24/7 he just switched to another curve on AT&T about 2 weeks ago and he loves it
