I am a woman with the 6s plus and I love it. I agree with the others that said you should go to a store and try it out before you buy.

If I did'nt have elongated hands & was'nt tall , handling the plus iPhones would'nt be a problem ; we carry a purse at all times. I had the 6 plus previously , now the S plus:)

My wife is 5'1 and she has tiny hands - she has the 6+ and is planning on getting the 7+. She does use a case though - I think this phone (even for me) is too slippery to use without a case.

As a woman, I appreciate the OP's question and have no trouble understanding why she's asking it. Have wondered if the Plus versions would be too big for my grip - have had a dickens of a time finding a local retailer that has a Plus demo for me to try!

I also appreciate most of the answers in this thread, from women and men. But from certain men, who deride the OPs question in the first place? Not so much.

Maybe your local target store or Verizon wireless will have a demo
That you can try! Good luck.

Generally speaking, plus version is not a one handed phone. I was anti-plus for a long time until I finally decided to buy one. Even my soon to be 10 year old daughter who has my old 6 can't wait for me to upgrade to the 7+ so she can have my 6s+.

I have a female friend who uses a 6 Plus, says she loves it.. even though i believe it's way to big for her. I tried the 6 Plus for a week because changing my mind and going for the normal one.

My best friend has a 6 Plus and I know she could not do without it. She loves it and we discuss it all the time. When the 7 Plus arrives, she will be upgrading to it.

I am a woman and have an iPhone 6s Plus. I love it. I had the 6 and regretted not having the plus all year long. I have an iRing or similar device I use on the back to help me hold it and it is the perfect compliment to the phone.

Girls usually have smaller hands which makes the Plus more difficult to use.
Quite a few posts seem to suggest that those are more in the line of stereotypes/generalizations than reality necessarily.

My mom has the iRing on her 6 and she loves it. ( Yes, I know my mother doesn't have the Plus version of the iPhone)

Of course there are loads, hey size isn't an issue for them as they chances are put it in their bag anyway. Even my girlfriend does that with her 6s

i think more girls have it because you can store it a purse rather than your pocket...

This is exactly what I was going to post. Also, women tend to have smaller hands so they're probably not going to use the regular 6 one-handed anyway.

I think most people are talking averages. On average, an adult woman's hand is about 3/4 of an inch smaller across than an adult mans.

I hated it at first and after having my 6S since launch I have to say I'm very slightly tempted to get the plus when the 7 launches.... hmmm decisions the only way to tell is to get one and try it out! You have 14 days or however many depending on how you purchase it

Having that said, I just bought a 6S Plus after having my 6S for 6 months I decided its time to get with the times and bigger phones!

Go for it! (Of course if you can try it first that is best).

I am a woman and using a phone exactly the same size as the 6+ (Nexus 6p). If you regularly use a purse and can get one of those clutches that is big enough to carry the phone + essentials for when you want to travel light you will be all set.

I had similar concerns when I was first trying to figure out if I could handle a phablet. What some (not all but a few) of the guys in this thread don't understand is that there is a severe dearth of female perspectives on smart phones on the internet (it is even worse on android). Most guys can assume a smart phone review takes their hand size and how they carry a phone into account but women don't have that luxury (although it is getting better). So threads like this asking other women for their experiences are really valuable IMHO.

One thing I've noticed is so many really tiny girls (with tiny hands), but using biiig phones... whether its 6s plus, galaxy, etc. I wonder how they manage to hold it in one hand.

I own both a 6s and a 6s+ and I always gravitate towards the 6s. I think next go around I'l end up going with just the regular 7 or whatever they are calling it.
