Keeping my 5s - not enough updates to really get me excited about the 6 or 6s - and, yes, I prefer the smaller form factor.
If they get rid of the home button via 3D touch and do touchID on the screen AND get rid of the lightning jack (via wireless charging), then all of that real estate at the bottom becomes available for other internals (and battery space).

I want my smaller 7C, but with the new camera that they'll be bring out. Give us all of the same features, but just the smaller form factor.

And dump the 16GB phones....that's just silly that they didn't give the low end the bump. (in the volumes Apple is purchasing memory, I'm guessing the delta is a dollar or two per unit).

I am needing to upgrade my phone but am seriously looking at getting a 5S as I simply don't want to move to a larger screen. I'll just keep it on whatever OS is delivered and never update it. Should've stayed on iOS 6 for my 4 as iOS 7 has slowed it down a bit.
iOS7 slowed it down "a bit"?? :D

Lol everyone wants smaller bezels, myself included. But where the f would you like them to put all components hiding behind that bezel. You make it sound like its a walk in the park and don't understand what the hold up is

Same here - The 5S lives to fight another year ;)

You'd think going smaller would come back into style at some point. It doesn't have to reach Star Tac levels, but just sayin'. There have been a number of articles saying the phone industry is never going back. I don't buy it.

The 5S is still a fantastic phone, which may be why they haven't given us a new 4-inch model yet as they decide if they will continue the size or not.

Truly, I use a 5S as my iPod in the evenings when I have my phone tucked away for the night, and I love it. It's a terrific device. After all, about what 53-54 weeks ago, it was still the best iPhone ever.

You guys sound like car enthusiasts. Always begging and whining for configurations or sizes the manufacturer doesn't make simply because the manufacturer doesn't make it.

Despite your concerns, I think the market has more than spoken about this last year and what looks to be this year as well. Tell me if you were pin charge of the business who's opinion do you really think is worth listening to?

There's plenty of prediction that home button may be a thing of the past which means more real estate for screens or they can shrink the overall size of a 4.7" screen.

I like big phones because it's better for my eyes. I never realized how much I strained my eyes until I had a 6 plus and tried to use a 5S again. The 6 is about as small as I would go if I had to downsize.

I'd love a small form factor again but my 5s had horrible battery life. The Plus is a pain to carry around but it's always got a charge when I need it and I'm never left scrambling with a dead battery. I wish I could have it all. All the great specs of my Plus with the pocketability of the 5s. Perhaps someday of they perfect a foldable screen and accompanying chassis.

Strangely, they managed to find all those components into the 5s.

The power requirements of the chips have come down since the 5s was released, so theoretically a redesigned 5s-size phone would have a longer battery life.

 Oooo..I forgot about that. Well, I guess I can hope! I think Apple would be crazy to ignore the people stubbornly hanging onto iPhones 4 and 5 and 5c. I hope they have some plans to offer small, medium and large iPhones with comparable specs in the future. Someone else in the forum suggested it and even made mock-ups that looked very appealing.

Apple can make anything they wish. The "Market" is what they make it to be. Adding a small version will lead this so called "Market" and it will likely turn the Pamp fetish around.

History proves - Small is hard (thinner anyone?) and large is easy.

The grail is small AND easy to Read/Work with. uTube video is not the only thing around for some of us.

Said it many times - watch what happens when/if a small iPhone with latest features comes.
It will turn around, just like the past. People do not want to carry an iPad as a phone. Notice the size has capped at 5ish. Topped out I say.

When someone says 4in is the perfect size and leaves out the "for me" part b/c it sure as hell ain't the perfect size for me. Could never go back to using a 3.5 or 4in screen. I definitely do agree about the bezels tho. No way the 6 Plus should be bigger than the Note 5. Apple seriously needs to ease up on the bezels next year with the 7. #Bezelgate is real people :D
