Swirley MMS
Cydia Recorder
Jailbrake App (Can't remember the name) limited use.
*Would be nice
*whatever
*would be nice, esp. since they denied the gMail app that would allow that.

Over all change of this happening w/ :apple: Slim

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F136 Safari/525.20)

I don't think that the updates are subpar. I think they have made huge strides toward stability with each update. Stability to me is far more important that these other things. Apple has to prioritize the things they update or we would never see an update.

Don't get me wrong, I would like to see many of the items you listed. I just think that labeling the updates as subpar is a bit inaccurate.

nope, that's not what i wanted. thanks though for posting the pics. I already listed what i wanted in the OP. please re-read if you're confused. :)

now there are a million +1.

id love to see sms notifications turned off, i dont like them interfering with apps and its not nice for suggestive texts to light up the whole screen in front of people

give me, give me, give me… people are so demanding these days! be thankful that you are actually getting features in mobile software updates rather than stability and security updates.

my buddy just could not get over the new features in 2.1 after i re-unlocked his iPhone from 1.1.4. he said not only did i fix it, i made it even more enjoyable!

I don't think we'll be seeing any of those items on your wish list. Why?

It's been over a year since the iPhone was first released and we still don't have them. I could be wrong however.

!

really? i didn't realize i was being so demanding! silly me for wanting my iphone being capable of doing some of the most primitive things in the cell phone market!

Wow, I had no idea people want MMS! Thanks.

yep, great feature!

as someone else pointed out in another thread reply....

saying MMS is dead and to just email who you want to send a picture to, then shouldn't the same logic be applied to SMS? Instead of SMS-ing someone, just email them what you want to say.

same thing.

fix it apple. fix it.

Then tell people not to send you suggestive texts? Everyone I know who sends me a text is well aware that if they send something to me during work hours, my coworkers are likely to see it. And if they send something inappropriate, there will be hell to pay.

The notifications are no different in behavior from other phones I've used. The point of an SMS is that you see it right away.

hey troll, quit moaning and jailbreak. making demands on macrumors isn't going to get you anywhere.
