They do make one good point, where does Apple go from here with the ipad?
It's already so good, creating a "wow" factor is going to be very difficult.

1ms touch response would be a very nice upgrade.

A processor that has more headroom than needed and actually makes it feel faster, instead of just enough power to cover the new screen demand...

128GB

Thinner. Lighter. Titanium back and/or structure.

More screen real estate via adaptive bezel that gets wider when you're interacting with the touch screen, and narrower when you're watching movies.

OLED.

Inductive charging.

If you look at the comments, the original poster is going through and suspending people that are talking badly about them.

I "love" Gizmodo...

Can you do that?

I don't think so. That would been mean none of my posts have ever been posted....ever. :D

But maybe only I can see them, (but then again there may be some truth to this anyway).

----------

It's no surprise unless one hasn't been paying attention. Gizmodo has their own spin on things, it's easy to ignore. Why get so worked up... :D

Because, they are a bunch of crooks, liars, thieves, smucks, and all ****** up in general.

That answer your question? :D

I don't understand, what's the problem? A group of guys on a tech blog don't like the iPad. It's their opinion. If you like the iPad why should it matter what they think?

I think some of you misunderstand Gizmodo. They're run by Gawker, a gossip site. Gizmodo's job isn't to report the most accurate articles. Their job is to write the most controversial and as you can see, it works.

So I'm not insulted by their articles. Gizmodo's articles are purely for causing disagreements and making the comment section run wild.

sitenote: I was disgusted by Gawker's Steve Jobs articles and their commenters but Gizmodo and some of the network's other sites are much better with good commenters too.

Then price goes up two fold and then people complain about the extraordinarily expensive price

So we can feel better about our purchase and reduced the risk of buyers remorse (a unenviable state).

We look to other's opinions, and use these to synthesis our own, having no clue as to what the **** we are doing.

Yes I speak for myself only.....and a few millions others.

There is no problem. This is Macrumors, thought it was entertaining.

I don't care how they feel about the new iPad. But I do find it interesting that a bunch of supposedly tech savvy people seem to believe the retina display is only useful for gaming. The difference in the simple things like text is striking, let alone the possibilities for photography and video apps.

I suppose for some people a version is "incremental" if it doesn't have a dramatic new form factor.

Do they have any credibility left? Who cares.

Sooooooo..only positive reviews have credibility?

Exactly.....

I guess some of those who upgraded will feel better about their decision when they read more positive reviews. ;)

Gizmodo guy 1: I think the new iPad is boring. Give us some technology that doesn't exist yet. Otherwise not much to see here.

Gizmodo guy 2: Yeah. Exactly. Make it flexible. I'll tell people not to bother unless...

Gizmodo guy 1: Right on. Flexible and lighter. And a two day battery. And OLED despite the fact that no one yet makes a non-pentile OLED display with anything close to 264ppi.

This is why I don't read Gizmodo.

I used to like Gizmodo, but then I made a "Does it run Crysis?" joke in a thread about computer with 50 processing cores and got permabanned.

Somebody else posted porn and got banned for 2 weeks.

I don't understand the logic that's in use here. I can't take them seriously anymore.

I rarely post but I couldn't resist. Gizmodo is getting worse in each post they do. I do not know why I keep going back and will probably stop soon.

I never really visited their site, but I had them in my RSS feeds for some time. Off the 800 articles they posted per day. 797 I couldn't care less about. The 3 slightly interesting ones seemed to be written by an angry 12 year old. Long ago deleted, never looked back.

They are useless.

For gizmodo to say that the retina screen does nothing for reading text is outrageous. Reading a book in the kindle app is about a thousand times better on the new iPad.

I'm not sure I'd believe a positive review from Gizmodo on anything. If they were willing to pay for stolen goods, they are probably willing to take money to write a positive review.

They have been blacklisted by Apple due to the iPhone 4 debacle, and thusly have had nothing nice to say at Apple since (regardless of what the products or services are). It is obvious that they are simply holding a grudge at this point.
