All real views and most are right on the money. I know it will be gangly and a pos to carry but I am willing to deal with it to get rid of my iPad and have only one portable device.

I say everybody wants the 6 plus because everybody would want the new camera features and battery life. The only thing holding back people who bought the 6 is the size of the plus.

Oh I see what you mean. It's Apple's way of making people pay $100 more to get the Plus, they have to give us a reason to pay more, not just .8 inches more.

I'll still use my iPad but not as often as the 6+ will be fine in many situations. Spreadsheets in the 5s were too small. Looking forward to the 6+.

6+ : Faster, more RAM, better resolution, more features

In addition to OIS, the Plus will have cool split screen apps.

To each their own.

I actually think a lot of people who bought the 6 because it has the awesome optical image stabilization, and of course the buzz word of all buzz words: 1080 resolution, will soon have buyer's remorse when they discover how gigantic the thing is. I never for one second considered the 6+ because i have always chuckled and rolled my eyes when seeing some one using one of those giant Samsung phones, whatever they're called.

Agreed. Soon folks will have an ipod mini up to their ears. Ridic, but just IMHO.

I use my iPad for screwing around. Watching movies, playing games, browsing, and reading. The plus can do all that just fine.

Very cryptic way? Doesn't sound like proof to me...

Yeah I got carried away and chose my words very badly. I should have said I don't think that it has 2GB based on something i read from a private twitter account. Using words like "confirmed" and "doesn't" was very poor from me and I apologise.

What I say to everyone who asks me about size: "The 4.7 is the perfect size for a smartphone, the 5.5 is the perfect size for me." I rarely talk on my phone. I use it more like a tablet. It all boils down to two things: 1. Personal preference. 2. How you use your phone.

Kind of ironic that the Chinese bloggers are posting videos of actually using the new phones (before the announcement no less) while our American tech bloggers are left to print out pieces of plastic for size comparison. Sign of the times.

Seeing as the phones are, in fact, made in China, I'm not surprised that they were able to get their hands on the phones before other people.

Still can't believe they did the large screen thing. Big Mistake. Hopefully they start going smaller with their phones.

Thanks for the laugh :)
Plenty of used iPhone 4/4S and 5/5S on Amazon/eBay for you teenie tiny phone
loving folks.

I had a Note 3 which was very similar in size to the iPhone 6 Plus except a little bigger screen. It was awesome but once the honeymoon wore off it was more of a hinderance then a blessing. I wear tailored dress pants to work and it would fit in my pocket but was obnoxious when I'd bend or sit down. It was very very obnoxious with a case on it. In the end I just had to active a lifestyle to be literally lugging it around.

I went back to my iPhone 4S and I was so excited to have a small device I didn't even consider the 5S because it was bigger then the 4S. Lol.

People at work made it a point to joke with me when I was talking on it as its a pretty large device to be holding to the side of your head. It was all in good fun though.

Regardless the second Apple introduced it I already new it was too large of a device for me. And without the waccom digitizer for note talking and drawing ability I have absolutely no use for it. So I can see why someone would opt for the 4.7" model with regards of the 5.5" being to big.

I think a lot of people will really enjoy the 5.5" model though especially those that carry a briefcase or man bag and have a lifestyle that support carrying it around all day.

I can fit my iPad Mini in my pocket, albeit a bit uncomfortably. The 5.5" iPhone 6+ is going to easily fit in my pocket. And never once have I thought when using my iPad Mini, "Man I wish this screen was smaller." Not once. The only downside to 7.9" is that it doesn't fit in my pocket well. The 5.5" wont have that problem.

Oh, and as a Nexus 5 owner, the device is essentially the same size, and even on that, true one handed use is near impossible. You will be sending lots of typos if you plan on using your iPhone 6 one handed. So what are you really saving? Being able to pretend that you can use your phone with one hand?

People are forgetting the plus runs in 3x mode, so all graphics take up 2.25x more memory. So yes it will have 2gb of ram, it will need it just to be equivalent of the 6.

With the CPU and GPU not getting much faster, the 6+ is probably going to run less smooth and with longer load times than the 5s, let alone the 6.

The 6+ has to push 2.7million pixels, the 6 1million, the 5s 0.7m, all with similair GPU/CPU.

I predict a lot if disappointed plus owners - they had better be buying only for the large screen.

I can more then easily use an N5 one handed.

I see people using an iPone 5/5C/5S in an Otterbox defender case all day everyday and that is a touch larger then an N5.

Obviously usage will vary depending on hand size but saying an N5 and thus an iPhone in one of the most popular cases made is unusable one handed is a stretch.

This is somewhat subjective. All of the people in the video appear to have the Iphone 5 which is only 4". The norm for phone size now is 4.7" or larger. Most people who do not have an Iphone 5 likely have a 4.7" phone or larger. I bet if you polled those people, they would not think that the 5.5" is all that much larger.
