Glass Tower on Apple's New Shanghai Store Revealed

It's an interesting look, but where is access provided for users of wheelchair users? Is it an integral part of this main portal? Is it separate? Is it equally as attractive? I have to say I think the aesthetics of this entrance are marred by the apparent non-inclusion and non-integration of an accessible means of access built into the main entrance!:(

hmmm to go and check it out or not to go??? anyone in SH wants to meet up and check it out?

They started with glass staircases, and now we have glass buildings... What's next?

Underground store, set in a section of land lower than what surrounds it. Surely I'm not the only one imagining the horrors of water damage resulting from a heavy rain.

It certainly looks neat though.

The problem of water drainage for underground structures like this have been solved over a century ago. When subway stations started to appear, there was such a problem but there are now well established techniques to drain rain fall away from large underground rooms. This is taught in basic civil engineering curriculum these days.

Amazing.

But more importantly. What is a sixteen year old youngster (Matthew Lesh) from down under Melbourne, Australia, doing in Shanghai? Selling Syncode are we, Matthew?

Haha, good question, I wish Syncode was big enough to warrant international trips, but alas, it's not. I'm on a family holiday.

That new Shanghai store is a BEAUTY. Just as stunning as the Apple Store in NY. Man, what I would do to visit either of those stores. Gorgeous!:p
