This thread is for everybody, but specifically for the people who are picking up their phones in store.

We might vicariously enjoy the other tracking threads, but ours phones are coming by a sort of secret shipping: we don't know where they are at the moment, but we know where and when our phones will be in store so we can pick them up!

This post is to invite you excited people to to share whatever you're excited about right now. I'll start:

1. My fourth case just arrived. Don't know which of the four I'm going to use or keep. All of them? Just have to see how they really feel with the new 14PM, but they're just sitting there like presents under a Christmas tree right now.

2. Two more days!!!!!!!!! (Should have started this thread earlier.)

Due to glitches with the preordering system I ended up with a Saturday pickup when I was done, I had a Friday pickup.

Okay, Saturday isn't that bad, but I wonder if it might get annoying hearing people talk about Friday. So do you have something fun planned for the Friday? Pick out a case? Work all day? Get all your weekend stuff done so you can enjoy your phone all Saturday?

Just hope the pickup time window shows back one. I currently don’t have one, which I did upon order. Just says the 16th. My wife’s doesn’t even have a date even though hers was the 16th on order, it says null

This is my first time ordering for release day. I usually wait a month or two, just in case there are any issues, and then I'm playing iPhone Roulette with other members here. I'm kind of regretting picking store pickup because this turned out to be a busy week at work and not sure if I'll have to time to run to the Apple Store and come back within my lunch break.

During launch day they usually won't let you in and will be advised to come back at your time slot. I went last year 2 hours early (lol) but advised to come back at my time slot I had. You can go at 12 pm but they may just have you wait a little.

What time does your store open? Friday, Apple stores will open starting from 8 am.

Ah, I just checked the website. It looks like for Friday only, they have special store hours for the launch. That's why the open an hour early. My pickup appointment is the first thing.

In the past I have done in-store pick up but this year I opted for home delivery.

I am just the opposite. Always get home delivery but after the App Store glitches, my date had slipped to October. Luckily I have 6 stores close to me and they all had stock. Will be picking up after work on Friday.

Miss tracking my package but I also don’t miss having the ups truck drive by and not drop off your package lol.
