Looks pretty rough haha. Did you make sure to squeegy out the liquid? Use a credit card to and slide it across the phone to remove the excess liquid. Shouldn't look like that if you squeegy it. What kind of liquid did you use? I used a spray bottle with water + a few pumps from a soap bottle and mixed it.
Lol

I used the naked juice that came with the slickwrap and the squeegy card. I'm going to pull it off and try again.
Thanks for the reply

Didn't use slickwraps, I personally used BestSkinsEver they're apparently the go-to choice for transparent skins.

What streaks are you referring to? Here are a few pics after letting it settle down overnight. The last remnants of bubbles have all but disappeared. There are some minor imperfections but I'm totally fine with it. I have an extra set that I can use in the future.

Quite the bit of orange peel look to it. Does it disrupt the look of the jet black a lot or just pronounced in the pics?

imperfections are way more pronounced in the images. i don't know what you refer to when you say 'orange peel.' there is some slight imperfections on the corner, but that's due to my own installation errors. i'd imagine over time it will peel. there is no way around that. eventually i may just put this guy in a case. i'm just using the skin as extra precaution against scratches.

I reapplied it and used a credit card this time. The cardboard they gave was just to weak. Looks a lot better. Thank you.
[doublepost=1474753221][/doublepost]The naked skin is starting to look better over time. I'll wait the 24hr period before I decide if I keep it on. You are correct. It is all about the installer. I have put on 100's of tempered glass screen protectors and a few skins. I have never done the wet install like this one. Once again thanks buddy.

I will probably order a few more different brand clear skins. Since they don't last long for me anyway. I usually have them come off my phone in a few months from normal use.
[doublepost=1474763473][/doublepost]I just ordered a BestEverSkin and a Armor Suit from amazon

After letting my skin sit over nite. I'm satisfied with the look and feel of my Jet Black Plus. I installed a tempered glass screen protector. I feel good about going case less now.
I will be installing a new naked skin when it comes the first one arrives. Now that I'm comfortable with the wet install process. I can now install a new naked skin to get a near perfect look.

looks great. im comfortable going caseless as well. eventually i will probably end up buying a bumper from rhinoshield for added protection. comfortable with the skin protecting the back of the case

I'll checkout that bumper. In the past I have used dbrand skins with a case and I notice the case pulls on the corner of the skin. Making the skin tear from changing cases.

What I'm not seeing from a lot of these reviews on skins, is how does it feel compared to the naked iPhone 7 plus which has a more grippy feel? Are there any clear/glossy skins out there that keep or enhance the grip?

I'm using the slickwrap naked skin and it gives you more of a grip. The texture is smooth with a leather like feel. It feels like you have an apple leather case on your iPhone but its see through.
That's the best way I can describe it.

absolutely yes. its even grippier. its not slippery by any means. i'd say you get double the grip compared to a naked jet black iphone. (i use the bestskinsever skin)

If anyone is curious about naked skins. I would say just buy a few different brands. It may cost you $30 or so . Try them out. If you don't like them. Then take it off.

Put a glossy BSE on my matte black phone. Didnt turn out the best (my fault), but I dig the results. On quick glance it looks like a jet black (could be pro or con to some) and has great grip. It seems to work somewhat well with an apple leather case. I will say that the lock/unlock button seems a little less easy to push, but I'm not 100% it wasnt like that before the skin install

Any tips?

Waiting for mine in the mail. Slickwraps has a deal if you purchase a iPhone 7 skin they'll throw in an extra one plus a tempered glass screen protector. Only valid until 25th of September

I could still see this offer :) Even I've already own one from different brand (Gadgetshieldz) . I don't mind getting one from slickwraps. Thanks for sharing!

It's like putting on a screen protector. Make sure the back and side of phone are clean. Clean hands and area of install.
Used lots of water and soap. Or naked juice if you SlickWrap.
Once you line up the camera cut out. Lay it down while using a credit card to squeegee the water out. Use a blow dryer on the sides ,top and bottom. The heat will help the skin fold and stick better. After you finish let your phone sit for a few hours or over night.

Add my name to the list of people that have ordered from Slickwraps over a week ago and contacted them about a shipping notice from 5 days ago but the product still has not shipped. Would prefer to never deal with this company again. I understand launches are difficult but this is shady and flat out lying and that is unacceptable. They charged my credit card 6 days ago and it is generally not allowed to charge prior to shipping a product when it comes to online purchases. Eventually this practice will catch up with them. Strongly considering disputing the charge with my credit card if their customer service doesn't have a better answer than "try waiting a few more days".

What type of soap do you recommend? Just any old dish washing soap?
