i too love going their. all the machines are just so beautiful in the flesh :(

if only there weren't so many people. it must all be mine one day, miiiiiiiiiiiiiine!!!!

Hit or miss here - usually I come back after a miss and get a hit

For example one lady said that I didn't need to get some bowing near my fan fixed - a second genius said it needed to as well as the display housing and bottom case.

For free :O

i HATE going to the apple store.
I AVOID if i can...and buy online.
I HATE being seen there.
I dont feel comfortable there.
I dont like the staff there.
I dont like the aura and atmosphere there.
I dont like the attitudes of some apple staff like " oh im so happy and im so cool and i know everything and i know it all, who are the hell ar eyou? "

Although they are really nicely built, the retail stores, layout, colours used, decoration etc..... clean and fresh feeling.......

although better than looking for a pc repairman and then getting ripped off for something that doesnt really get fixed. Way too many pc cowboys out there....

apple website is nice.

bill gates is nice.

Every time I leave the Apple store the security guard and the worker at the door make me feel uncomfortable like I'm stealing something (which I wouldn't do) Other then that they're nice stores.

They made me feel REALLY uncomfortable the other day while I was shoving iPhones in my socks and a MacBook Pro into my coat. But other than that I've had no trouble. :D :D :D :D ;)

25 minute drive here....After I get a job there I suppose I'll get an apartment close by...and everyone with misaligned/bent/cracked/warped/swollen/malfunctioning anything can bring it to me to get it fixed for free. :D :apple:

I like going to the apple store too!

There are actually 3 apple stores that are 10-20 mins away from my place, oh and a 4th store that is 35 mins away by train.

They replaced it because its a known issue and they've decided to fix that issue...warranty or not, which is what you'd expect. After all its not your fault they didn't build their initial top assembly properly in the first place

Hmmm...so if I have a 2.5-ish year old macbook (rev. a, got it the week it was released), and it's (obviously) out of warranty, would they replace the top case free of charge? Because mine has cracks near the palmrest. Not a major issue, but if they'll replace it for free, I might as well get it fixed.

I love going to the Apple store...there's one 20 mins away when I'm at uni and there's one 40 mins away when I'm at home.

I will be buying my Mac Pro from the Apple HE website when they're updated but then any accessories/software/etc will most definately be purchased from the Apple store :D

It's always worth a shot :)

lol now that is hilarious. I actually never bought any of my macs at the apple store. I always found they were too expensive in there...

My mac mini - Compusa
My G5 1.8 - online reseller
My iphone 3g . cingular store

The only thing i get at the apple store are wires, mice, keyboards and speakers. I find that the apple store is pretty expensive and other carriers sometimes have sales.
