A little package just arrived today from XtremeSkins.
Initial impressions are very good!
Opted for a matt clear back, gloss camera cover and gloss sides but they kindly sent me a few more options than that!
Hopefully you guys can make the pictures out, more will follow once installed! Cutout and quality look great.

Quick update. Just started to clean the back of the phone up and noticed a small imperfection in the glass...

It’s triggering my OCD to the point where it’s going to need to go back so I’m going to hold off applying this skin for now.

It’s a tiny mark on the top of the glass by the camera. Really small looks like a speck of dust only visible on very very close inspection but now I’ve seen it, I can’t un-see it! It’s within 14 days so I’m confident they will have it back.

Tiny? That is minuscule and very, very hard to see. If you are going over your phone with some kind of electron microscope looking for anything you can find, you have a big problem.

It is going to be covered up by the wrap. I think you are asking too much from Apple and costing them unnecessary money.

It is small, just a knee jerk reaction to a mark that I’m confident I didn’t make.

I look after my things, the iPhone XS Max that I sold last week was immaculate even after using it daily for 2 years.

Currently sitting on the fence about sending it back (which within 14 days I’m entitled to) and I doubt very much if I do decide to return it that it’s going to impact Apple very much financially. I’m sure that they receive ‘used’ handsets back within 14 days in much worse condition...

Yes, you have the right to return if you want. I just think you are making it into something bigger than it needs to be, especially when it will be covered up and probably most others wouldn’t even have seen it.

As a few hours have past since I first spotted it, I’m beginning to feel like I’m blowing it a little out of proportion.

I am really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on applying the XtremeSkins and seeing the results. I would also like to know how close to the corners the back and sides are. I am considering ordering the XtremeSkins for my iPhone 12 Pro Max.

The only problem I've ever had with these skins is ... even if using a hairdryer (like some recommend) - they have a sharp uncomfortable edge. Interested to see how this turns out.
