Lol for me it'll be either galaxy s7 or Se. The s7 comes tomorrow and I'll order the se and see which one I prefer

I'm also switching from a 6s to a SE. I really do miss the smaller form factor. If I want to sit in the couch and surf the web I can use the iPad. I miss a phone that I can actually put in my little women's pants pockets.

The great debate a lot of us are experiencing. I want a 6S bad but the SE price is so good. i have a 5 right now.

I know this isn't answering the thread, but it's close. I'm going from an iphone 6+ 128GB to a 6s 64GB so there is a size change at least. My wife and I got the 6 and the 6+ respectively back in Oct 2014. We both have had it for 17 months each. While my wife is happy with the 6, I wasn't happy overall with the size of the plus. Even for a bigger guy, I had problems carrying that around and having it in my pocket. It was jarring going there from an iphone 5 but I was willing to try it. Well, I should have gotten a 6 from the beginning. Plus, the 128GB was too much for what I needed, so I went to a 64GB even with the 4K video and photos I'm going to have. Just wanted to save some money if I wasn't going to use all the space on the phone. So for 2 days now, I have a 6s 64GB due to an early upgrade through Sprint and its fantastic. I put it in my pocket and it disappears. I hold it in one hand and I can move my thumb anywhere on the screen. I don't worry about dropping it.

I considered going for the SE but after much thought, I decided despite the price point offered, I didn't want to go back down to a 4 inch because that would be a little too small, for me at least. I'm happy to say I've found the perfect size in the 4.7inch. I should also make a note of how much faster this is compared to the 6+; the 2 GB of ram really does make a difference and its butter smooth its almost ridiculous. I've also decided just to stick with getting the "S" versions of each iphone when I do decide to upgrade in the future. Just my opinion.

going from a 6s to a 5se? if so what are your reasons for doing so
I put the 5S in my back jeans pocket and sat on it for for the two years I had it in service with zero issues.

I want a pocketable phone more than an extra .7" of screen.

Not me. I like the 6s size. Thought about going bigger but will likely just get an iPad mini.

Most of the folks that went to the 6 from earlier iPhones did it for the larger size and could not wait, that is why it sold big time. Obviously specs were upgraded but still my first point stands BECAUSE while specs were upgraded with the 6s, it did not sell as well. Why? Cause folks already had what they wanted, a larger phone with the 6 versus their prior one.

Now you are going to go back to a smaller iPhone? Color me confused.

I just started saving only 112$ lol going from Space Gray 16 GB 5s to 16 GB rose gold SE

Oddly this release has made me appreciate my 6S more than ever. In that, I have been struggling between the 4.7" vs 5.5" since Sept 2014. But seeing the 4" offering renewed in all of its glory has really helped establish that I prefer the smaller form factor. I have tried the plus many times but always went back to my 6/6S (I'm 6'7" so hands are pretty big). Now, I cannot see myself going back to the 4" screen, but I appreciate it for what it is, and what I loved for 2 years before moving to the 6. My desire for the Plus is finally gone. I am on a computer all day at work, and use my macbook at home. While I use my phone more than 95% of my circle, I realize now that 4.7" really is the sweet spot for me.

I also think 4.7 inches is a sweetspot for smartphones, but the design of the 6 series is so damm uncomfortable. The round edges makes it slippery and needing a case. And, aesthetically speaking, the back is fugley. That camera bump....antenna lines.....blah.

The leaks of the 7, which I trust, don't give me a whole lot of hope for a better design than the 5 series. The best design goes to the 4 series.

I ordered a space gray SE in 64 GB and if the 7 series is really revolutionary, I'll jump to that on tmo.

After having both a 6 and 6S+ and realizing that the larger size while great for browsing on the go and watching movies is cumbersome to carry around everyday in a pocket while I'm on the job or just out normally. My 5S was the perfect size and a great phone while I had it. At home I've got an iPad or a desktop that can be used so not every piece of tech has to be so big and have to do everything.

I ordered a Rose Gold SE 64gb that will be taking over for my 6S+ to be sold on Swappa. If I am really impressed by the 7 I may upgrade, but this form factor is just too good.
