Gold plating

I’m looking for thoughts and/or experiences with gold plated Apple Watches. There are a couple of eBay sellers with 100% positive feedback selling them as well as other web sites. Does the gold plating hold up, etc?

I Think it depends. I have read where some had negative experiences where the gold plating has separated away from the casing of the Apple Watch and others have had more positive experiences. I think it depends on the process of how someone is applying it and if the plating is cured properly.

Even if done correctly the gold will show wear very quickly.
