Gold vs Silver vs Space Grey

Why does black bezel only come in space grey when you would think black bezel would be the go to color for undecided people. It should be 50/50 with different colors for the black front..Makes you think everyone wants the white bezel..
 
I've had both the gold and the silver iPad Air 2's with white border and although I like the looks of them, I found them distracting as well.

I even went from a gold 6 plus to a space gray with black border for my 6s plus.

I'd try a silver bezeled iPad. I've had a bunch of different iPads and iPhones, but won't get white again by choice. My work iPhone 6 is a while/silver model.
 
Tablets are always black, phones are always silver, laptops are always aluminum, coffee is always half/half, headphones are always Grado... some things you just don't mess with. 😀
 
As an alternate opinion, I do a lot of writing/web browsing on the iPP and find the white bezels are not an issue given that iOS/apps and almost all websites skew white -- if anything, they blend better. I haven't been distracted while watching videos either.
 
I usually get Space Gray because I like how the black bezel gives the illusion of a screen that goes edge-to-edge. But I often use a notes app with a white background - so a white bezel might be nice. If only the devices came in green gold... Then I'd get that, with the white bezel.

When it comes to tech devices, I see many black-only snobs, but I don't see any white-only snobs.

Get the color you like best now. Before you know it, you'll have the opportunity to choose again for next year's model.
 
As a rule I always say space grey however I went for the Silver 6S+ as I always have having a black bezel and the display being almost grey in comparison as it is not OLED. The black border around the white doesn't bother me as it is just a uniform line and is quite nice in a weird way.

However the big draw for white is less visible smudge marks ! And on something like an iPad that can be a nightmare. However end of the day it is a colour choice and I always choose based on the product. Looking at the iPad I think Silver looks best right now but will see in person.

The SE on the other hand I like Rose Gold. So it's all personal taste, no wrong choice
 
First time buying anything other than Space Grey for an iPad. Went with the Gold this time. I am very particular about this stuff so I am interested to see how it all plays out.
