I know they have been explained over and over again! And I keep asking because there is really no value. People are getting this card just because of the cool Apple logo. There are way better cards out there. I’m just trying to understand what’s so great about it.
See i have great credit. And the cards i have. Have much better rewards than this Apple card. But not everyone is in my situation. Some ppl have just ok credit. And may not qualify for a rewards type card.

So my thinking i guess is for that person. This provides them a card that gives them some rewards. Not the best. But for ppl like me. It provides no added benefit. So i guess it depends on that individual.

This is another Apple product that I'm NOT excited about. My titanium Amazon Prime Visa suits me fine. Not sure why I would need to get an Apple branded card. As a shareholder, I'm glad Apple is doing something at all rather than just riding the iPhone wave all the way to the shore.
So you have another card that “suits you fine”...yet here you are

not entirely true. Costco has some fees and egregious interest if you have a payment problem, and pays rewards only good at Costco. different strokes
Not true. Their yearly cash rewards checks do not expire. I walked in with two rewards checks and walked out with $854. cash! I did not even have to buy a thing! This is in California if that makes any difference.

I can’t FIND IT ANYWHERE.. does it support Apple Pay person to person. Can I use my Apple Card to send money to another person.!!?!?!
No, you can't. To send money from person to person (Apple Cash) a debit card is now required. It used to be the case, according to the original Apple Cash terms and conditions, that you could send money to other people and pay for that with a credit card, but you couldn't top up your own Apple Cash card and pay for that with a credit card. However, Apple and Green Dot Bank made a change to those terms and conditions last March after the Apple Card was unveiled, and now a debit card is required both to send money to other people and to top up your own Apple Cash debit card. No more sending money to other people using any credit cards, including the Apple Card.

It was convenient paying people back with Apple Pay cash for a while but I don't have a debit card so that's out the window now.

The lack of an actual card number should be a big plus for security. I try to use Apple Pay when I can for this reason. I've had people steal my account number a couple of times and make a couple of purchases. It's annoying AF to get it dealt with, and I'm tired of these criminals having easier avenues to be criminals.

UK release when?

Probably not for a while yet. Nothings been announced for anything outside of the US - it’s not as simple as Justin launched a new feature simply down to the fact they need to have deals and agreements with banks in said countries first.

I got you beat on the groceries - 6 per cent. Lol

In that case you don't need a credit card - a charge card will do nicely! That's what I do.

Actually, you should use a credit card. One, it builds credit. Two, you'll get rewards (whatever your card gives) by spending and paying it on time. Using a charge card means you spend 100% cash with no rewards. Paying your credit off monthly is 100% cash plus rewards.

Does that explanation of the Grace Period mean that if I use my card on 08/30 I will have one day of Grace period?

Interesting how the Card's customer agreement specifys 'jailbreaking' but not the required firmware version.

Why does this card excite people at all? The cash back reward is pretty wake.

First of all, it doesn’t come to Canada at the moment. But even it comes to Canada, i don’t find the point at all.

I can get 4% cash back on gas and grocery, 1% cash back on all other item.

Who is going to do App Store purchase all day long to make the cash back worth a while?

There is hard limit on tap transaction on tap, $100 dollar limit, so people gonna need to use physical card, then it is 1% cash back.

Plus, when I buy big ticket items, I will use my travel reward card to get point. I have gotten several free flight.

The cash back reward is just not attractive.
Hmm sounds like the Costco Visa card?
You also get 2% cash back when you buy things in Costco or Costco.com
3% cash back on travel, hotels, and restaurant related purchases.

However, you'll need to maintain your membership, which one could think of as a $60 "annual fee"

Am I the only person who’d never do business with the economy-wrecking swindle-machine corruption-leading subprime fraud champions named Goldman Sachs, which brought down the entire US and world economies by fraudulently passing off packages of billions (maybe trillions) of dollars worth of subprime mortgages as AAA grade? You can blame liar loans etc but the fact is if it wasn’t for Goldman Sachs, there wouldn’t have been a market for liar loans.

Can you imagine carrying one of these cards? It’d be the financial equivalent of carrying a credit card emblazoned with BillCosby-HarveyWeinstein-TedBundy. “Don’t leave home without it.”

Right. Here's the proof just in case. I hope this means we get the card on Monday.

Does Amazon support adding the Amazon Prime Visa to Wallet for use in Apple Pay? If they don't yet they should start supporting it now.

Yes I have my Amazon card in my Apple Pay wallet

I got Costco visa/Sams MasterCard both for my daily cash back (5% gas/4% gas, 3% travel/restaurant). I guess some people can claim it’s annual fee ties to my Sams club and Costco annual accounts. I’m on executive and Sams plus member so pay $120-100 for my membership. But it’s basically a free membership cause they give me back money for spending $2000 plus each year there.

So in a nutshell. Those are two better daily cash back cards than Apple Card.

There is very little benefit of having apple Goldman Sachs card except the cool factor.

No one getting the Apple Card cares about what other cards offer lmao or they already know what other cards offer. How do you guys not understand that?

If someone wants the Apple Card because of the “cool factor” so what? Literally no fees, nice integration with Wallet, easy to generate a new card number, daily cashback and 3% back at Apple.

You only have 1 life to live. I hope getting an Apple Card doesn’t shatter your soul and cause you to lose sleep at night......

Bro you lost me. You asked twice what’s so special about this card, you claim it’s been explained to you over and over again, yet you are still posting in Apple Card threads? Why? Seriously, why?

If you don’t see the value in it and other people do then so be it! You’re gonna drive yourself crazy over a credit card that you don’t even want. Just get over it.

citi card 2% on everything. Amex blue (paid) 6% groceries, Penfed - 5% gas.
Costco card great for travel.

Why do I need Apple card? may be only 3% on Apple products.
