Im So Excited The Packers Suck Again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Da Bearsss!!!

Rodgers had a very good showing against the Cowboys in November in the 11-1 square off on the NFL Network. Arguably he did better than Favre was doing that game and had Favre not been injured the Pack might have lost by more.

Unfortunately he has yet to play two consecutive games and has shown a tendency to get injured in practice after he plays a geme. If he manages to improve his durability the Pack might not suck so bad this year... maybe we'll even manage to beat the Bears in 2008...:D

Some might argue that Farve played 2 seasons to long. So who will be the Packers new QB.

aaron rodgers for now. maybe they will pick up a QB in the draft, but packer fans are keeping their fingers crossed that brett might change his mind and get under center for one more year. so here's to wishing!

He loved to play, that's the most important thing. I've never seen anyone so happy with their job in my life.

By the way, he'd be a terrible coach, but that doesn't mean he isn't incredible. He once asked, in a meeting for QB's, "What's a nickel?" He was serious.

My parents are both full-blooded Wisconsin natives, and I was born there but raise in the south. Anyways, we are HUUUUGE Packers fans. No, we haven't painted our garage door with the packer logo (By the way, if the person who lives in that house is on here, let me know, cause I've seen you :p ), but we definitely love Favre. My mom was moping around the house all day in this bubble of depression because of his retirement. I guess we really looked forward to seeing him for one last year.

By the way, the Packers won't suck again! The Packers will never suck! I think Brett did a good job on training his back-up quarter back. He'd never leave without preparing his team! And I'm sure we'll see him again in a few years, coaching a team.

thanks for all the replies guys, its really nice to hear from other people outside of wisconsin about how they will miss favre just as much as we are!

Even as a New England Fan, when he handed us defeat in 96, i'm still a fan of Brett Favre.

It's funny when you think of Favre's style as a QB and how it relates to how everyone plays. Just this past season, while running a play at practice during football, I threw a ball on a line when a lob would have sufficed. Right after that, the coach pulled me aside and told me "I dont want any of that Brett Favre crap in the game this weekend." Made me laugh quite a bit.

He is truly an NFL icon and will definitely be missed, but this was probably the best time to call it quits. I hope he doesn't tarnish his reputation with any clemens/jordan comeback garbage.

Yes, let's hope he's wiser than that. A move of that nature would surprise me.

just out of curiosity... within the NFC North, what is the biggest rivalry? For instance, I would argue that Redskins-Cowboys would be the biggest rivalry in the NFC East...

depends on the week:rolleyes:

I'm from wisco myself.. its definitely either Pack-Bears or Pack-Viqueens:p

Bah humbug. Jordan came back an got a 3-peat while playing some of the best basketball ever witnessed. Reputation strengthened.

Jordan coming back for the Wizards? At nearly 40, he averaged 19 points per game for a shooting guard. Pretty incredible.
